Jets Suck -- 2015 Edition (Official): Countdown to Oblivion

My two favorite Jets moments in the last 15 years! I could watch the butt fumble over and over again like a favorite classic movie.
Butt Fumble will always be funny and make me smile and is easily the most entertaining/funny of any highlight.

Sanchez also has my 2nd favorite laugh moment too.

You scratch out games sometimes..
Fine, if you want to say that the Jests scratching out a win on the road against the Cowboys third string QB who threw the ball to them three times makes them better than we thought they are, that's on you.

Barely beating the Cows this year is just shameful

Watching the Jets and Bills play this year is showing me that Rex is overrated. I really wish he was still the coach of the Jets.

Not saying that either.

We don't know what Moore is. They were still alive and played hard..

I don't get what all the IVs were about ..

But they got it done and escaped..

So now we have to beat them while they are still alive.. Sets up a great game.. That we should win.. If gronk wasnt playing I would be really worried..

Barely eeking out a win or almost losing means "win"

Hello,

How are the Pats as far as injuries for the Jets game? I believe the Jets have no major injuries for the game but not sure..

Both teams have the talent to beat the other..

Coaching, which ever team is best prepared, best game plan, effective in game coaching adjustments, will win the game.

Of course some player like Brady or Ivory could blow up and take over the game, but I don't see that happening.

Have you been living under a rock, or are you just being facetious?

Our injury situation is kinda laughable. We'll be far from full strength, but if Gronk is healthy, I think we'll be ok.

I honestly couldn't predict the outcome to this game...my gut tells me a close win for the Pats, but no bets.

Ivory is not blowing up to take over the game....he was running all over the place until the jets played the pats and he hasn't been the same since

the jets barely have the talent to beat kellen moore and the cowboys

I don't follow the Pats or the NFL like I have in the past, life has got in the way.

I know Gronk was hurt but I thought he was back, is he unable to go full strength,,,, I don't know, but would guess yes? Amendola had a concussion but he has to be about ready? Heard you lost a starting D line man, but not sure how that impacts the Pats, next man up and all that. Oh yeah you lost Blount, which I don't see as a big loss.

Mostly I'm just trying to start a dialogue about the game to get a better feel of what to expect without disturbing the serious threads. And then eventually start posting a bunch of bluster and XXX talk.

:)

Good point on Ivory. But the Jets have had some success with there D and surprisingly also with there O, Decker and Marshall have been playing well, Fitz is having a career year, he's not Brady, but he has been steady.

the jets OL is not what it was ..... mangold and ferguson are not as physical.

outside of davis, the jets defensive front 7 is pretty slow....especially with the 4 down linemen they are starting these days (wilkerson, richardson, williams, and the fat guy)

Agreed DBrick is having his worse year ever, and Mangold is not what he once was but is still quite good, RG is a mess and LG and RT is average, but they are a big line and depending on match ups have some great games. The D line IMHO is good, but with the exception of Davis has no speed and Davis has been somewhat meh. Harris hurt his back last game and he has been having a great year.

I worry about Gronk and the Pats short passing game, Pats D is good, but not Dallas good, I can see the Jets racking up 27 points?

It was a big slap in the face vs Dallas when the Jets couldn't pick up 6" or a yard when needed. In that respect us Jet fans have been spoiled over the recent years. The oline could always overpower the D for the important short yards. Really hope that is some sort of easily fixed issue.

As far as the Pats O? Well #1 there's Brady. Don't really have to discuss that one. Other than that though, I've been saying for a while now, missing Edelman is huge! Many will disagree, but in the Pats O, Edelman > Gronk. If Edelman is out, that allows for easily doubling Gronk.

Last game don't think the Jets did too bad vs Gronk. Coples did let up a wide open TD when he decided to blitz along with the safety just for $hits and giggles. Smh, yeah let's leave the best TE in the game wide open for a TD in the 4th quarter. Thankfully that dumb@ss is gone now.

Before that though, Gronk didn't kill us. Especially before Pryor got hurt.

If the Jets lose this game, they don't deserve to make the playoffs anyway. Though still more than any AFC South or NFC East team.

**Edit: I just realized Amendola may miss the game too! Sure ya always wanna face (and hopefully beat) the opponent at full strength, but given the tight wildcard race... Hells Yeah!!! Jets better not lose this game if Edelman and Amendola are out. In fact the Pats may want to consider "resting" Brady. He's gonna have to hold onto the ball quite a bit longer w/o those two in the lineup. Wilk, Sheldon, Snacks, Williams gonna have a field day vs that oline.

I did not realize the Pats were so beat up, that sucks. But the Pats always have another guy to step up, I read about Steve Jackson, would not surprise me at all to see him make a impact with the Pats, any other team nope.
Pats will probably put some DB at WR and throw the winning TD to him.

I say if the Jets can get there run game going they will win.

Didn't you say something similar prior to the last time New England defeated your Green Beans? The Pats' offensive line was in even worse shape then and still prevailed.

Good memory. Think I mainly referred to the Dline shutting down the run game. They kinda did, but that was mainly because I think Belichick realized attempting to run was useless. Believe the Pats passed 90% of the time or something crazy like that. Not sure what their gameplan will be this game.

Sure your oline may have been worse then, but ya gotta admit, if Edelman and Amendola are out, that is most likely gonna equate to Brady holding the ball longer. That'll give the big (admittedly not fast) guys up front time to get to Brady. Unless of course the Pats can establish a running threat to slow down the rush. But that doesn't seem likely.

One team has locked up not just a playoff appearance, but also a first round bye, and if they chose to rest a bunch of players this week they can still lock up top seed by beating the hapless Dolphins the following week. The other team has locked up absolutely nothing. There's no way the situations are the same.
