link: Bengals LB Vontaze Burfict fined $69,454 vs. Steelers
There were two unnecessary roughness fines and then the hit on Roethlisberger, and Burfict will appeal the fines, according to Schefter. The three fines by Burfict totaled $69,454, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Probably would have been between 20k and 35k if they played the Patriots (and appealed down to 15K).

I think 4 other players (1 Bengal and 3 Steeelers) also got fined. No love lost in that division.

Thank God he just tried to injure another player. Imagine if he had known someone who might have known that it might be possible for weather to deflate a few footballs.

That hit was ridiculous. He was trying to take Ben out of the game without a doubt.

I think the Bengals deserve one free "Injure the Steelers QB" card for the **** the Steelers did to Carson Palmer. It's taken Palmer 11 years to get his careerback together since that happened. Some of that is Palmers fault, some of it is the Bengals but most of it is Pittsburgh's.

VONTAZE....Vontaze Burfict

The horror... The horror...

I'd forgotten about that.

If Burfict keeps this up, he'll be paying to play ...

Don't give Goodell any ideas. I can see it now: "It is an honor to play for The Shield. All players will pay a 100% salary fee for the privilege."

"That's just football."
