Mark Brunell on Blount's injury

If you have ever reviewed his chapter 11 filing (it was in the WSJ), $21m of his $25m bankruptcy filing was unsecured debt to fund real estate investments. It was a 1/2 joke on my part as I do think he has since resolved his finances but for god sakes apparently he has never heard of diversifying and hiring someone that is an expert as managing his portfolio and business ventures.

Thats how these athletes get in trouble...they have no freaking clue what they are doing.

I assume he took a bath on the 2008 real estate crash. Tough to blame him there. Lots of people lost their shirt there. People with way more sense than Brunell.

Yea he went all in. It's understandable but investing 90% of his wealth in RE was not good investing - especially with a family to support.

The Reason Mark Brunnel cried so well was because.

This man was his teacher.

(and before any of you overly politically correct people get upset, this was from a commercial in the 70s/80's about pollution).

....and I thought he was on the board of trustees for Foxwoods...DOH!:D

How much is your dignity worth?

No sympathy here.

Yeah I agree. He made his bed and all that but I think he honestly gave his opinion. He was used. He was ignorant. He needed the money.

I think he got duped but then again he has never apologized.

Hell, maybe I don't feel sorry for him.

If he did come forward and say he was misinformed AND apologizes, I'd give him a pass. If not, he's part of this whole fraud and is not worthy of the slightest shred of sympathy.

Yep. But if Sharp or Musnon etc... apologized they could still kiss my ......

Brunell, huh?

I went looking for some federal fuks. Of course, being the organized person I am, I searched the nightstand next to my bed, but I had no luck. Same thing with my closet, bags, and boxes. But I've been pretty tired lately and I've been leaving stuff in the truck, so I decided to check it. I didn't find any, but I had the truck so I figured I'd head down to the other end of the compound and check with the supply guy. Still no dice, but by that time, the mail room was open, so I asked if they had any remaining packages for me. Surely, there would be some in there, I thought. No packages...not even the 2TB of pr0n I've been waiting for.

I was a little disappointed, and I figured as long as I was disappointed and without any real expectations, I'd head to the chow hall. Then, I remembered that I might have dropped some at the corner table I was sitting at the previous night, but still...came up empty. The chow sucked too...

Time for more bodies to get involved. I called some of the other dudes in my unit and had them check the other trucks and then one of the facilities off the compound. I went to this other spot I visited yesterday. It was a 30 minute drive, but I knew this was my last good chance. I got there and asked around, but no go.

So I just went back to my room and sat on my bed. I would have cried, but I'm not a *****. After thinking about it for a minute, I just had to accept the facts; there were no federal fuks for me to give.

Thus, I give no federal fuks.

If the Pats end up playing the Panthers in the Super Bowl this asshat will be insufferable.

Is Brunell that left-footed punter that the jags let play qb?

I just always figured he was better kicking the ball than throwing it.

Brunell will follow this up with the side - splitting hilarious story about the time he accidentally ran over a mother duck and her 11 ducklings that were crossing the road
