SJAX in town and Eric Martin coincidentally absent from practice.

Maroney is in the mix too..
This is about roster management. They don't need him for TN and something may happen in that game that re-prioritizes things. So, if a gentlemen's agrrement is in place, why not wait until after TN?That's a very good point and quite possibly the case.
They will be managing his reps anyway and probably wouldn't use him much, if at all, vs Tennessee.

The Ground Round is still around, it thought it went under? My understanding on how the process works is....
1) Phone call with team/player & agent to gauge interest...1st interview stuff. (healthy, in shape, remember the plays, etc.) and talk ballpark $. If ok then they fly in.
2) Depending on the player, dinner. Chit-chat...BB takes him to the Ground Round for the tuna salad plate.
3) Team conducts a physical. Player signs waiver. If all checks out, he works out.
4) If workout is good- contract talks. If work out sucks, limo to Logan or TF Green.
Not true. They only worked him out today (Thursday). He visited with the Pats yesterday..It looks like Steven Jackson won't be signed. We would have heard something by now .
The Rams had the league's worst offense when McDaniels was there. 32 out of 32. We already brought in Amendola, and some scrub Rams TE no longer here. Might as well bring in Jackson too. As long as Brady is here he'll continue to make the offense look good.

They took Rodney to the ground round? they must not thought to much of him otherwise they would have taken him to the 99.It did but was reorganized a few years ago.
Ground Round Grill & Bar-Home
BB and Pioli took Rodney there in 2003 to close the deal. Only reason I mentioned it. Classic story...
