EDIT: Yes, I know he isn't really comparing himself to Brady in terms of talent. I was just making a joke. Although from what I have read about McCarron, he probably privately thinks this situation will turn him into Brady 2.0 only more talented.
Bengals QB A.J. McCarron said he sees similarities between his situation and Tom Brady's in 2001.
"I guess Tom Brady was in the same situation when he had the opportunity," McCarron said. "I’ve got to make the most of it and do my job each week. I know we have an unbelievable defense and if we don’t turn the ball over we have a great chance." The Brady comparison was clearly just referring to the situation, but the former Alabama quarterback has never been lacking for confidence.
