Man, we are lucky we still have this guy!
Hightower and Freeney injured, its good to have a veteran back there getting things in order.

I hope we can keep him after this year, we need depth.

Mayo looks a little better every week. He's still missing lateral quickness, but at a minimum he's pretty much a rich man's Brandon Spikes right now, with the potential to be more if he keeps getting improving post-injury

Nice to see him coming along. I could be wrong, but didn't McGinest go through a very tough injury stretch leading into the 2001 season, then gradually come along that year and ... the rest is history? Not expecting a mcGinest-like second half of career, but it's a good reminder that it can take a while to bounce back.

mayo got burned on a third down by houstons third string TE ( #84 ) apart from that, he was good. especially against the run

He is still not what he was but clearly improved from early in the year. Hopefully come playoff time he will be good enough so you can take Hightower or Collins off the field for a play or two and not have a heart attack worrying about the back up. I think he can do that.

As BradyFTW already mention his lateral quickness is not there and I am not sure it ever will be again but he can get up the field in a hurry and stop the run. Straight line he is as fast as he ever was.

He is better than anything that is out there atm (free agents/practice squad)
So I am happy with him.
Hope to see him getting it all back eventually by playoff time.

Maybe he will get some snaps over freeny now that freeny is hurt

McGinest certainly seemed like an injury bust at one point.

Then later in his career he didn't need to be a full-time player, given the Patriots' depth at LB, but he was outstanding in the clutch. E.g., I think he retired as the postseason career sack leader, and he also had regular season plays like the famous stop against the Colts, or -- I think this was him -- a sack to knock Houston out of FG range in OT.

Well, Mayo has been one of my favorite Patriots so seeing him get back to what he is capable brings me much joy and happiness. A fully fit combination of Mayo, Hightower, and Collins on the field together is going to require a tantric release.

He's their first string starter. He's been injured all year. Just came back 4games ago. Last night was his worst game of the four.

So glad that he is playing better. He shows up all the time now on the replay reel instead of being invisible. Keep it up Jerod!

Willie Mac had chronic groin and hamstring issues. It was attributed to his training regimen. Once he started incorporating more flexibility training into his workouts and conditioning, he stayed on the field.

As I understand it, it was Willie who introduced TB12 to Guerrero.

He's getting better every week. His offseason could be an interesting one to follow, especially if his improvement doesn't plateau.

Yup, I'm hoping for him to have a major role on this team again while Freeney keeps developing.

Hes not the old Mayo as of yet but closer to Miracle Whip. Not sure if its age or injury or a bit of both but he is getting closer week to week.

Miracle Whip is disgusting.

1) Cains
2) Hellmans
3) Jerod Mayo
......
......
292) Miracle Whip

Sorry I dont eat Mayo/Miracle whip myself, apologies if my anaolgy is inaccurate!
