It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Yes, but that's just a loss of downs I believe, so kind of a non-penalty penaltyOn the Hoyer slipped-out-of-his-hand / incomplete pass, neither the ball or his arm was hit by a defender. The ball then hit an OL's arm first. Isn't that illegal touching?

Probably because Hoyer's arm hit the defender and that is what cause the incomplete pass.Once it was determined this was an incomplete pass, why was intentional grounding not called?

Is this thread about Cardinal Law??? Spotlight..
I know your kidding but funny thing is this is the type of throw the tuck rule was trying to protect. You could argue that Hoyer was past the point of being able to throw down field and it slipped out as he attempted to pull his arm back from the throw and thus it should be a fumble. It was not a penalty because he was trying to 'tuck' the ball

But that's not true. Hoyer clearly releases the ball before being hit. I recorded the video from my monitor and uploaded it.
Can someone please explain why this is not Intentional Grounding. He dropped the ball at his feet in the face of pressure. I don't understand.
What is so hard to understand?
Intentional grounding, means the quarterback is intentionally trying to throw the ball away in order to avoid a sack or something else.
There was clearly nothing intentional about that.
