Without Brady McD is nothing.

I'm a huge Brady fan, but I think you're forgetting that Josh ran the offense for that 11-5 season with Cassel.

When Mcdanirls leaves hes taking caserio with him.
So look for a team who needs a new GM as well.
TENN is a great guess.

exactly. Tennessee or the Lions. Either Josh and Nick can walk in to a situation with the QB in place, or they get to choose the want they want with the top pick in the draft.

Josh is a guy best fit for NE. His potential coaching style would only work here. If I'm him, I stick it out here and hope to get a shot to take over. Ride TB to a couple more Super Bowls.

Skippy's thinking of leaving?

Good riddance…and take Joey Judge with you.

It sounds as though Josh wants the majority of control over personnel. If that is the case, why would he bring a GM with him? Caserio was extended through 2020. At the time of the deal, it was speculated in the media that he was paid more than any other GM. Caserio is BB's heir apparent. It's unlikely that he'll take a pay cut to play second fiddle to Josh on a rebuilding team.

Caserio and Mcdaniels are great friends it was said about 2 years ago the two were a packaged deal.
If BB isnt retiring anytime soon who thinks Patricia will stay around and not pursue a head job.

Do you think Daboll is ready also I wouldnt discount the idea he follows Josh.
However I dont believe he poaches the staff unless Bill gives his blessing.

Daboll has been under employed as a TE coach waiting for this, he's been a coordinator before and with the Patriots forever (with a trip out of the organization in the middle). He's as ready as he'll ever be.

As for Josh, the point seems kind of obvious, I think most assistants would be ready to leave to be a HC given the right situation.

I think Patricia stays. He doesn't seem to have the burning ego that makes coordinators jump. He seems to be well-matched to being mentored by Bill and I think he wouldn't want to turn that knowledge-spigot off by leaving. My money's on Patricia being the next Pats head coach and I'm good with that.

I think this is the time of year these type of rumors start popping up. Usually the mediots create scenarios based on a good teams strengths and a bad teams weakness. The deeper the Pats go in the playoffs the more Josh McDaniels rumors we'll hear.

Hopefully he stays but if he goes I would wish him the best.

No it wasn't.

I'd like to see Josh go to a team like the Raiders and make Denver pay a decade long price for firing him.

Tennessee would be a fantastic match.

Him and Mariota would be a very good combination for each other.

Wait, what? You think Josh McDaniels has that kind of power to 1) tell his new employer who to hire as the GM, and 2) somehow take Caserio away from Belichick and his contract here?

You may be right in the end, but I'm not seeing it.

When Caserio interviewed with the Dolphins its believed he would of took the job if he could of hand picked his head coach Josh.

Now that I can believe. Caserio could handpick Josh, but Josh could not handpick Nick Caserio.
