Steelers have to play Denver and Cincinnati after this game. I want them to lose so that they "have to win" when they are playing the Broncos and Bengals.

Also, I don't really care if the Colts back into the #4 seed... again. Hard to say I am rooting for the Colts, more I am hoping the Steelers drop a game.

Absolutely, want Steelers to be extra motivated when they go up against Cincy and Denver. One more loss by those two I believe guarantees Pats #1 seed.

C) Meteorite to hit the stadium

COlts..want steelers to lose going into the den and cincy games

Colts, read somewhere, I can't remember right now, that either a chiefs loss or steelers loss and a patriots win would guarantee us a playoff spot

That's good, I was really worried about our chances this season. Our division has been really threatening.

Like many, I would prefer to see the Dolts in the playoffs so I went with them.

Having said that, what are the odds that we play them both?

I think this is about HFA. I'm not worried about Pats playing anyone at Gillette. Only team that had recent success at Gillette during playoffs won't make it this year.

chaos in the AFC south!

I'll root for neither. I'll ignore them and consider the pros and cons of the result after the game

Steelers. Seriously, f*** the Colts. And I f***ing hate the Steelers.

Won't matter, the Steelers are going to paste them. The Colts suck, period.

Man, this "defiant goose" guy is one snotty duck...wassamadda honky, too snooty to gaggle with the rest of us canadians?

I can just see Tomlin, Grigson, Irsay, and Rooney sitting in a luxury box together like a divorced women's support group, each *****ing and moaning about those baaaaad Patriots. Oh course, the ultimate drama queen crybaby, Ben Roethlisberger, will be mad he wasn't there as he was too busy playing through exaggerated, ambiguous injuries.

Interesting matchup…. Colts, Steelers, Texans, and Jets are all tied at 6-5, with the Steelers currently looking in from the outside.

Concentrating on this particular match up, in one hand we have the ****ing douchebags who framed us with the deflated bull5hit, while on the other hand we have the Steelers with their Big Ben and his offensive weapons, and an organization we hate to boot. A Colts loss lets the Steelers back into the playoffs, while a Colts loss combined with a Texans win, throws the Colts out of the playoffs altogether. A Colts win keeps the Steelers out of the club for another week.

Thoughts? Discuss….. For me personally it’s a tossup…. I think I’d be forced to ‘root’ for the Colts. I think it’s more important to keep the Steelers out of the playoffs. The Colts will get what they deserve in the Wild Card round (should they even remain in the playoff picture come week 18).

Two different items apply here: Disgust and Pragmatism
From the disgust side, a choice between the Colts and Pitt is like being forced to choose what smells worse, rotting garbage or a rotting carcass. But the punk coach and punk QB from Pitt shot their mouths off during the season. Everyone else, even the steaming pile scumbag Grigson, has kept their mouths shut about the defamegate railroading. So IMHO Pitt richly deserves the next serving of karma. Fortunately a big plate of karma is about to be fed to these two cruds.

From a pragmatic side: don't much care who wins. If the Patriots have a relatively healthy O (Gronk, Jules, DA, LaFell and a healthy OL) and a relatively healthy D (High and Collins back), I look forward to the Patriots dismantling (fill int the blank with Pitt, Colts, Texans or Jets).

Rooting for the Colts in this instance. The odds of them getting in the postseason are decent enough already, especially if we beat the Texans next week in HOU.

I'd much rather see Pittsburgh sitting home, come the beginning of the year. This comes from respect for their ability as well as complete hatred for the team and fanbase.

I still think one of those "pain in the ass teams with a mediocre record" makes it further than most would feel, so I'd include PIT, GB, and SEA in that category.

Colts.. I want to keep the Steelers out of the playoffs and the Colts to have another year with a late draft position due to playoff participation.. **** them..

this isn't even close at all. With that offense we don't want Pitt in the playoffs there our biggest threat not denver

I think I know which team I think I want to win, but I think I won't really know until I think about it during the game. I think.

Once the game starts I'll probably be able to tell who I'm rooting for by my reaction to the plays and/or calls as they happen. Both teams make me want to puke, but if I had to see one lose it would be Indy. Nothing would make me feel better than seeing them miss out on the playoffs. The best part is that the Indiots won't be able to use the Luck injury as an excuse because Hasslebeck has a better record.

Yep win win that way
