Giving due credit - Brock Osweiler

Yes, let's give him some credit. He executed when it counted most. He deserves some credit for that. Also, I feel like there were some occasions where his receivers let him down. For the most part I think he deserves a good amount of credit for the win. On a side note, I am excited to see the hullabaloo when Payme comes back. That is going to be interesting to say the least. Can't wait....

Ill say this much. Osweiler delivered two or three dynamite deep balls toward the very end. Coverage from Butler and Ryan on those throws was decent if not good. But bring him into Gilette in January and then we'll truly see what the kid is made of.

Idc. I want that team in our building in january with us being in full health. I bet our guys are chomping at the bit.

Save for Brock Holt, I don't like anyone named Brock. :p

the kid can take a hit, that's about as far as i want to praise him after that ****show of a ref job we saw last night
Give him time and he'll learn to fold up like a lawn chair.

He was decent. Far better than Manning. But he benefitted from some calls and non-calls and having Emmanuel Sanders catching the ball. Sanders caught several balls that most other receivers wouldn't have caught.

Osweiller's last TD was aided by several blatant holding penalties (not called) by his o-line including an illegal hands to the face penalty worse than Vollmer's and a couple of bad calls against the Pats.

In two games. Osweiller has been good, but not great. I think against a healthy Pats' defense without the ticky tack calls, he will struggle in the playoffs if it happens.

His rating was like 52.5 pretty late in the game, but he did make a great throw on the bomb to Sanders. He looks like a keeper, but I've been wrong about young QBs many times.
I was impressed with Sanders last night. Played tougher than I thought he could.

He made some pretty clutch throws in the 4th quarter and overtime but it was the Denver running game that really won it for them, aside from the refs.

he had 2 good throws

I feel I already did so in the post game thread, but yeah, he made clutch plays when Denver needed. Sanders was there and is the best receiver on that team. That running game helped him immensely as well. But the young buck went into that game and got it done. The moment never really seemed too big for him and I really think DEN has something going, with durability being my only concern. That body is long and lanky. He took some shots yesterday where it took him a few seconds to start trying to get back up. He'll get hit more in that type of offense.

No Respect from me he was aided by BS Flags!
I thought he played well, especially considering who the opponent was and what the conditions were. That being said, the Patriots should not have lost that game. But with the help of the officials, especially on that Chung call, they did.

Has a nice deep ball and can take a hit. That's about it.

Brock will take Peyton's job, as was Brady took Bledsoe's job.

Thought he made some lovely throws however, it's pretty easy to play football when your offensive line commits egregious penalties right in front of the officials and is called for SFA.

He was a 2nd round draft pick ... so there's something there.

Like all players ... let's see how he does when there's more video of him.

If Collins and Hightower played then he's not a story today ... he owes his RB's a nice meal.

A passer rating around 60 despite the running game destroying our backup linebackers. I was surprised at how inaccurate he was, and I'd been hyping him up in my head up until last night.

???

Ice, Osweiller had the same numbers as Brady. 1 INT and 1 TD brought his QBR down that much?
