Alex Boone put NFL referees and commissioner Roger Goodell on blast following #49ers’ loss

Boomer was ripping the officiating of the Pats game. Of course a couple local guys are talking about it. Bertrand is going bonkers about it right now...

OPI on Gronk (negates critical conversion)
DPI on Chung (negates huge, game saving sack)
Inconsistent non call w/Lafell getting mugged
Holding on Tre Jackson (negates 40+ yard pass)

Two phantom calls, two outrageously inconsistent calls. Infuriating. Disgusting. Each of those calls were HUGELY impactful.

I almost never say it but the referees STOLE the game from us.

This is nice to see. Nobody wants to get fined, but enough is enough, glad to see someone stand up and say something. The officiating in this league is ruining the product on the field. I'm not one to use the bad officiating as an excuse for a loss, but each bad call led to the loss. I also blame the defense, who played so great for 3 quarters (gave up only 7 points) and then gave up 17 points in the 4th. Yeah the Harper ****up hurt big time and was the turning point, but the Pat's still had a chance to win. Bad officiating and bad defense (and bad offensive play calling the last 3 minutes) all led to that loss.

That being said, it's refreshing to see someone finally call out the officiating.

Refs stole this game.....reminds me a bit of the CAR game a few years ago on the PI on Gronk....****** BS

Refball.

Not scared of Denver at all with all our guys back. Took ref ball, home field and most of our playmakers out for them to get a suspect OT win. Patriots will throttle the Denver Me-Too's in the playoffs.

All of these OPIs on Gronk are beyond ridiculous, they are totally out to get him. From last night's game, there was a major hands to the face by a Bronco lineman to Easley that was not called. I'm more mad about that as it was pretty obvious.

It was ridiculous but expected. Don't think the refs are going to ease up at any point either.

If anyone watched that 49ers game 49ers got absolutely screwed and the refs stole that game.

Also people need to expect the Panthers to get every call in the book in these last 5 games. nfl desperately wants them to go 16-0 so the Pats aren't the only team that has went through a 16 game season undefeated.

I think that Boomer really admires NE. I think he just also tries to play the line too and sometimes comes across like he's against them, and maybe is on some things (which should be allowed). He has repeatedly said they are the best organization and Tom is the best QB of all time.

Boone is absolutely right. The officiating has reached laughable levels, which is a shame and unfair to the players that work so hard at what they do. NE fought a lot of adversity to be in position to win the game and I feel it was taken from them, in part, happened because of the bad calls or no calls. It was atrocious last night. Even ESPNFL, granted only Jaws, went off about the officiating and feels NE got screwed on the Chung PI. What bothers me more than the f*cking calls is the inconsistency. It's not even close.

That was bad, but last night was much worse. The carolina game came done to one play, last night there were half a dozen or so plays that the game hinged on where the refs screwed us.

Talk and more talk. Not sure that achieves anything. That was kind of pathetic last night. I do n't really care about the loss, but worries me about it happening in the play-offs.

To me those are easier to get past because it was just 1 or 2 bad calls.. last night was a deliberate effort to ensure that the Patriots would be handcuffed and disadvantaged so that the Broncos could come back and win it.

I've bickered in the past about officiating, but I never blame games for officiating (other than the 2006 AFCCG), but I don't care what anyone says or how it makes me look, last night we witnessed an agenda being carried out by the officials that control the game to influence a desired outcome.

Once again, Pats fans will perform inflation of NFL footballs at the Philly/Pats game and once again demonstrate that Roger Goodell is a complete liar, a conspirator, a criminal and a canker sore as the "face" of the NFL. .....FACE? yes, face ala disgrace...do yourselves and all your Pats fans friends a BIG favor...call the radio shows repeatedly and ask them to cover the inflation demonstrations at this weekend's game. Don't ask...demand! Don't le the Adam Joneses and Mutt Mutnanskis of the world continue to deflect attention away from this OBVIOUS ISSUE>

Goodell is a total liar. Every single thing he is involved in MUST BE SUSPECT. Pressure the media pukes until they acquiesce. I always turn to the wisdom of George S. Patton when confronted with scurrilous slander and lascivious libel.... ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!

Roger Goodell is doing more to harm the integrity of the NFL than Tim Donaghy did to the NBA.

This guy should be elected President of the NFLA players union.
