I guess you can use whatever negative word you want, this one had it ALL.

PERFECT season ruined at 10- by hated rival? Check.
Losing the second most important player (Gronk) on the team for season most likely? Check.
Blown 2+ score 4th quarter lead? Check
Game would have been over if not for one simple play? (Muffed punt) Check.
An disgusting performance by the refs to hurt our team? CHECK.
Game behind us for #1 seed now 1 game back with tiebreaker? Check.
A glimmer of hope (extending to OT) only to be viciously put away (long ass TD run)? Check

Just about every bad emotion was felt in this game.

With the saddest part being that things out of our control (an injury + disgusting refs) being the biggest cause of the loss.
You'll be whacking off to your boy Felger tomorrow ... will be a good day for you.

Hey look, it's Pessimistic Pete. I was worried about you. We never hear from you until something bad happens.

This team starts rolling and you say nothing. Deflategate comes up and you're back on the board. Then we win a Super Bowl, not a single post from you to celebrate. And 1 post since the start of the season. This 10-game winning streak must have been killing you. You were dying for something bad to happen. And sure enough, it does, and within milliseconds, you're here.

Amazing. Incredible. Not even Jets fans are as anti-Patriot as you are.

But now that Gronk is potentially out and there's lots of doom and gloom, I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of you. This is your time to shine. You had to suffer the Patriots winning another Super Bowl. You had to hide and bide your time. Well go for it you ****ing piece of ****.
Last was here posting Sept 28th .... he lives for games like this.

Posted once on Sept. 28th and before that it was Feb 1st ... what a troll.

I think everyone here doesn't even care that we lost lol we are all sighing a breath of relief that looks like Gronk didn't suffer anything seriously.

Are you ****ting me? This thread made me burst out in laughter.

refs won.

phantom hold on tre that negated a 50 yard pass. pi on gronk which was BS..
phantom pi on chung, lol it was so clear that goodell wouldnt allow us to win.

Disagree entirely

Couldn't have cared less about undefeated. It would have been cool, but been there, almost did that, no thanks.

Officiating was bad, but not the reason we lost. Although watching players run into gronk and him getting called for OPI is beyond frustrating.

Bad playcalling, our best RB, and 2 best WR's on the bench was just too much to overcome on the road in a place the team typically struggles.

Still #1 in the conference, and Gronk's injury is being reported as potentially not serious.

All is still ok

Hate seeing Gronk hurt. dDsturbed about refs and this being what we will be seeing in future. There are always some bad calls but they were all one way tonight. As far as the loss, not that big a deal. Wish they won but really this is the regular season and not a make or break game for anything as it stands now, not 1st seed, not a buy, not AFCE championship.

All is ok IMO we have a better shot at winning the SB now. Trying to go 16-0 means risking players health in spite of standings ranking. Now they can play for health.

If gronk's playing in two weeks then i am happy but still nervous about gronk:( we got hosed by the refs as well.

This loss sucked, but no--I'm not going to include it as the most heartbreaking loss of the regular season.

The loss at BAL 31-30 sucked pretty badly, when the replays showed clear evidence that the FG was missed and Belichick went after the ref at the end. That was a painful one.

Winning the first 10 games of the season means nothing. It was a nice start and it gave them a lead for HFA, but other than that, it was really only halfway to "perfection," and we all know how the low the odds were of that happening. As long as Gronk's okay, I'm fine with it. Not happy, and not less frustrated--but it's a night and day difference.

Denver is no more hated than the NYJ or the colts
Losing the second most important player (Gronk) on the team for season most likely? Check. Since you missed it, Gronk isn't on crutches. X-ray was negative. Gronk may be ready for the next game
Blown 2+ score 4th quarter lead? Check The refs contributed there..
Game would have been over if not for one simple play? (Muffed punt) Check. Only the ignorant believe this.
An disgusting performance by the refs to hurt our team? CHECK.

You're living up to your name Pessimistic Pete.. Thought you'd gone away forever..Wish you hadn't proven everyone wrong on this..

Playing a road game on a short week after a brutal divisional game. The deck was stacked against the Pats from the word 'go'.

The Pats are 10-1. Soul crushing? This is not even in the same galaxy as the bad playoff losses. The Pats played tough on the road with what they had to work with. If Gronk survives to play again this season, I will accept this loss with a smile.

Pete is just projecting his failure at life here. Its a good place to vent and project.

We had 4 of our top offensive weapons out due to injury and 2 of our top defensive players and we took Denver in their own stadium to OT. Not only that we had to combat biased officiating. This team has a championship heart and they never quit. So we lost a chance at an undefeated season, those are a rarity and extremely hard to come by. Without the pressure of going undefeated, we can rest our key players at the end of the regular season. It's possible that we can have Edelman, Amendola and Gronk, if reports are true that it's not a serious injury, ready for the playoffs.

I was watching the Pittsburg at Seattle game and the officiating was just as biased against the Steelers as it was against us. The away team usually gets the shaft when it comes to officiating and tonight was no exception. To be frank, I was expecting alot more games to be officiated like tonight. I'm not sure what the reason is but this year the officiating has been terrible league wide. Every year there is bad officiating but this year seems worse then average.

If at the beginning or the season, if someone told you that we would be 10-1 and the number 1 seed, we would be very happy. We are only 2 wins away from our total wins for last season and we ended up winning the SB. Regardless of our injuries there are alot of teams that would love to be in our position.

It's not all doom and gloom so please back away from the ledge.

These ****ing refs cost me $3.00. Not used to paying for my own coffee on Monday mornings.

I went into this game emotionally prepared to lose. With all these injuries and playing in Denver, our offense played better than expected. What makes this game hurt is not the loss but the injury to Gronk. Hopefully it's not too bad and it doesn't seem to be.
