Rob Gronkowski injury

Early reports seem to be that the injury is actually not feared to be as bad as it looked.

P.S. Anyone else keep getting the error page?

Will harper be on bb's doghouse? I don't get the hype with this guy. He stinks
I fear that your point is becoming apparent. He hasn't shown anything in two games. Now, I'll try to be fair and say it's hard to do it when it counts and maybe he just needs some time to get comfortable. But man, this is discouraging nonetheless.

I'll wait for the MRI. You can walk around on a torn ACL. It's certainly nice to see him on his feet, though. I'm hopeful, at least.

I feel confident in saying that no one knows anything right now.
And, I tore my ACL skiing in Zermatt when I was 20. A year later, I was drunk at a party and tried to dunk a ball. I came down on my knee and bruised it badly. The knee bruise hurt 10x more than my ACL tear. And my leg wasn't planted obviously when I tore the ACL. It was lose and twisted on a fall.

Well if it is, indeed, not as serious, here's what I see.

Two of the next three games are Philly and Tennessee. We can do fine without him in those. Houston is looking a bit more tricky but with how bad their turf is I want no part of him being out there.

If necessary I would consider trying to get him back for that Jets game in week 16 IF this injury isn't serious.

Well can't u tell if it's a torn acl? They could have guessed it by now. I am hoping it's just a bruise

The Texans got rid of their old turf this year. They have good stuff now.

They actually changed their grass to turf, mid-season. So thankfully it's better.

If Gronk's injury was a scene from a movie.

Walk around on it? Didn't Philip Rivers continue to practice all week and play in the AFCCG back in 2007?

As you said, I am definitely more hopeful than an hour or so ago, but we will have to wait for the MRI reports before coming to any conclusions. Fingers crossed for sure.

Yeah, Dion was walking on it for like ten minutes right after the injury.

god, i hope these reports are accurate, that its not that serious.

wont be able to sleep tonight, gronk goes down plus the refs really ****ed us tonight!

Texans got rid of their crappy grass back in week 2. They have artificial turf now

It would be inhumanely cruel if MRI results for Gronk end up being the complete opposite of what's currently being reported.

I had an impact bruise to my kneecap a number of years back - hard enough that I got a bone bruise on the underside of the kneecap from the bone underneath impacting the kneecap so hard.

It was one of the most painful things that has ever happened to me at the time. I literally thought I had shattered my kneecap at first.

Ultimately for something like that there's almost nothing they can do to help it heal, it's more of a pain tolerance thing. I'm sure the docs can get gronk to not feel that. At least with my injury my doctors said there was no further injury risk from continuing to use it, it was just pain tolerance. That said, if anyone hit it for the following six months I almost immediately buckled over it was so sensitive.

I can totally see that being gronks injury. Hurts like a ***** but isn't too serious - probably can be playing next week or week after if they can numb that knee up. Hopefully it's just going to be (really) sore for a while.
