Rob Gronkowski injury

I'm calling an impact bruise, usually the knee is planted for it to be ligament damage.

So if it is hyperextended, what does that mean? What kind of injury is that?

In locker room..bending knees to pick stuff up....schefter got a txt saying doesn't appear to be serious....pray

I'll GLADLY take that loss over losing Gronk for the year. Could be a gargantuan break.

Schefter and Rappaport are both saying the injury does NOT appear to be serious...that is the only way to save this season.

The vibe seems to be that it's not season ending. Lets hold out hope.

I think he got hit on the kneecap. Could be real painful without being serious.

If we get Edelman Gronk Dola, Collins, and Hightower all back on the field come playoff time...

I'm not scared of anyone.

I would bet on a dislocated patela. I had one while playing rugby, hit the same way. Had intense pain, and thought I broke or tore something for sure. Once it popped back into place it was sore, but after a few minutes it was just inflamation. I was able to play the next week with just Advil. I think that a dislocated knee cap is the best possible plausible scenario. In my experience it would explain Gronks reaction and the fact reports are he looks OK now.

My glimmer of hope is that when Gronk was getting on the cart he bent/flexed his knee a few times. To me (and what do I know) it was like he was thinking it wasn't as bad as he thought.

All I want is Gronk injury info but all I can seem to get is Error 522...
