Arizona Writer Thinks Pats Are at Toast

Same article I read last year prior to the Bengals game.

Lets face it guys ...."They're just not good anymore"...
I think it's the same article we've been reading since about 2004. They just change the dates and put a different writer's name on it. Be careful, ESPNFL may take it and slap Reiss' name on it next. (OH NO HE DIDN'T):D

Wishful thinking on the part of all 31 teams. Every time the chips are down this team rises to the challenge , even if they lose tonight they can still get the number 1 seed. All our guys except Solder and Lewis will be back either next week or in time for the playoffs. Patriots will be serious contenders and all these writers can shove it !

And when we dominate the Broncos tonight that writer will upgrade us from toast to double smoked, extra thick bacon.

Form your lips to God's ears.

You guys got it all wrong. That's what they call Cajun in AZ.:D

Speak for yourself. I'm not worried about the stupid donkeys and a wade phillips defense.

I always speak for myself, and my self says that the Broncos will probably be a better clock-consuming offense with Osweiler under center. Kubiak's offense is best when the running game keeps the front seven in their gaps to defend against the run and a mobile QB.

Manning was a bad fit for that offense that doesn't have an offensive line or receiver corps to go four and five wides with Manning in the shotgun. Manning was also no threat to run, even for a sneak with his neck and immobility. In many ways, these two offenses become grind-it-out running offenses today.

The Patriots' line is unsettled, and without Edelman and Amendola, the passing game becomes much easier for Wade Philllips to cover, especially with two guys dedicated to Gronkowski all day. LaFell can be covered by one corner, probably Talib.

I do like Shaq Mason, Brian Stork and Cannon run blocking for Blount, White and Bolden. Those guys are better road graders than pass blockers. Look for the Patriots to run on the Broncos and wearing out their mediocre linebackers. One of them will be covering Gronk on every play leaving a hole for the running backs to exploit, probably Danny Trevathan.

Nothing wrong with that article. It's the same stuff people here have been saying. We root for a team that is currently 10-0. Why are people here going out of their way to be offended by inoffensive football commentary and coverage?
There are three wrong with the article.

1) The author fails to mention that LaFell missed the first 5 games of the season.
2) The author ignores the situation the Pats have had on the O-line and that despite that situation, Brady isn't amongst the league leaders in being sacked.
3) The article fails to mention that the Patriots defense is right up there with the Denver Defense.

Go no problem with the article.

Got a HUGE problem with this mutt's face though..."Hi, Bugsy!"

Which Pats Game Day thread did this "writer" read? Maybe all of them. :)

Patriots Fan Thinks Arizona Writer Needs New Material

It's foolish pablum. The 4 commenters hit it on the head. It's illegitimate commentary, but we've read the same from Shank and Ronbo. Yawn...

The clowns on the set over at NFLNOW just buried the Pats, too. Apparently we wouldn't even be able to beat the Chiefs, Steelers, or Broncos in the playoffs.. Oh and "don't you get the sense that that Pats Defense and Butler really aren't all that good."

Well there you have it. Come on fellas, let's pack it in. This team is done.... Let's go cheer for the Cardnals. Clearly the more dominant franchise at this point.

We are, just simply, the worst 10-0 team of all time. Face it, this guy really knows his stuff, it's gotta be over, right? ;)

We're doomed I tell ya, doomed.
