Arizona Writer Thinks Pats Are at Toast

This is such a stupid article, don't even click on it. According to this writer, the Patriots are headed from "dynasty" to "despair"... The Pats are 10-0, but they're definitely screwed! I mean, they're gonna be without Edelman, except he will be back for the playoffs most likely, but we won't mention that. Oh and Amendola is hurt too!!!!! Except he will probably only miss one game, but we won't mention that either, just gonna assume he and Edelman are gone forever and ever. Oh, and the offensive line is horrible because the Bills were getting to Brady. We won't mention that this was a result of fantastic defensive playcalling and disguising by Rex Ryan, who is one of very few defensive minds who can give Brady issues, and that the Bills have a very good defense...

So, to sum it up, the Patriots are going to take a nose dive because Edelman is gone forever, Amendola is gone forever, the offensive line sucks, Brady sucks, oh and Gronk sucks. Apparently the Patriots also don't field a defense since it's not mentioned at all.

I'm here in AZ, and when I read this, I can only think of fear. Wishful thinking.

No mention of the D or that Tom is well, Tom. Are the Patriots in the Cards heads already? Good grief.

1. He doesn't really mean it. Note the consecutive paragraphs that started with "just might" and "could be".

2. Even if he did, this wouldn't constitute being in the heads of the Cards organization.

I read it. TL;DR is Pats are banged up on offense, may lose games because of it. Pulitzer worthy.

Who cares? If I had a nickel for every time someone in the media buried the Patriots, I would be richer than Bob Kraft.

Haha, that guy is so stupid for hoping. We've seen the same narrative since 2005. This is the end, it's over the dynasty is done. 10 years later...o_O

Nothing new there. but an accurate portrayal of the injury situation that the offense faces. Once again, a football writer fails to tell the whole story. The Patriots still have the best special teams and the stingiest defense.

Are we worried? Sure. Are the Broncos a good yardstick to see where the Patriots are in late November? Yes. Does this game make or break the season? No.

With the Eagles and Titans at home in two of the remaining five games, the Patriots are assured of 12-4 and the AFCE championship. One more win and they get a bye at 13-3.

Edelman and Collins will return, and it looks like the offensive line has everyone back who is not on the IR. They may not blow people out down the stretch, but it still looks like the road to San Jose is through Foxboro.

Speak for yourself. I'm not worried about the stupid donkeys and a wade phillips defense.

I posted it because I'm shocked that an AZ writer even cares. The Cards don't play the Pats until possibly the Super Bowl. I take it somewhat of a thing to be proud of. What are they gonna be thinking/saying if they possibly meet in the Super Bowl?

35-year old veteran quarterback Carson Palmer has 0 playoff wins, in 12 years.

(I added some info to make it even more striking)

Nothing wrong with that article. It's the same stuff people here have been saying. We root for a team that is currently 10-0. Why are people here going out of their way to be offended by inoffensive football commentary and coverage?

carson palmer has 0 playoff wins. LOL

And that means he is due for the big win. He has stood back since 2004, rage building, biding his time, and now is about to unleash that rage on the NFL . . . :)

. . . or not.
