We're onto Denver

Especially because, despite the five sacks, Chicago didn't get much pressure on Osweiler.

That is not a shocker considering Chicago had just 16 sacks going into the Broncos game. Chicago's pass rush is non-existent. The five sacks speaks volumes.

Based on what? Teddy Bridgewater and the Vikings went into Denver and was in a 3 point game with them.

But that was without the Almighty......Savior of the kicking Mules.......king of all Pig Skin tossers.....Brock Osweiler.

Brock will take the feeble fillies to new and unknown victorious pastures where points are plentiful and defenses bow to his superiority.

Face it JMC, tomorrow is Armageddon. Tomorrow the Patriots D, Tom Brady and Crew and BB will show their true colors.

After tomorrow you will wonder how did the Patriots ever get to 10-0 and you will finally realize that it wasn't because of coaching, it wasn't because of game planning, it wasn't because the elite defense and it wasn't because you had the GOAT QB. No it was because of Edelman.

Instead of discussing tomorrow's game we should be planning a candlelight vigil.

Which leads me to wonder ....why ...oh why...would BB ever bring his team to Denver and put them in front of Brock "the Patriot Slayer" Osweiler?

All I am hoping for tomorrow is that enough players survive the onslaught to bring us back the shredded jerseys of the fallen so that they can be buried with respect and their spirits may lay in peace.

May the odds be forever on your side.

The one thing I like about this coaching staff is how they just keep rolling in DL. For me that's gonna be a big key. How well we manage the fatties to keep em fresh for all 4 qtrs. Conversely I think it will be important to do a better job keeping the offense on the field than against Buffalo. I think we will be able to get pressure on SuperBrock, as long as that pressure doesn't wane down the stretch.

As someone above said, Siliga isn't really a starter anymore and was a healthy scratch. Not sure if you're talking about Malcom or Tarell but I think we have Malcom still.
tarell. i count him as a would-be starter

what do you mean by breakout? if chandler catches 4-5 passes ill be shocked.
think asante plays more because he's a better blocker. chandler is soft.

Chandler just needs to borrow Jerry Rice's gloves and he'll be fine.

Cleveland can't block?

Honestly, I have no idea. We'll have a better feel for his physicality soon enough.

In the meantime, my comment was simply based on the effective blocking of Williams.

GK is NOT a good coach...and if it's close or down to the wire at the end..we know who will have the advantage....well we know who already has the advantage!

I know people talk about the injury bug hitting us this season. do you think it's more of a random occurrence (as there's always some) or that plus a combination of facing some hard hitting/good defensive teams this year?

One thing will be true is that the offense will be well prepared for playoff defenses. (i.e. how many #1 defense did we play going into games, but they were no longer #1 after the game)?

I cannot wait for this game to start. This is the first time I've had the real "big game" feeling since the Super Bowl. For some reason I feel now like I did before the Baltimore game last year. Such a big night. Let's go

It could be a result of "do your job" syndrome, where the players want to give 110% effort to the team and over exert themselves. Who knows, it could just be bad luck. Obviously this doesn't apply to non playing illnesses.

Injuries are cyclical and unavoidable, imo the Patriots are in pretty good shape despite their run of them this season. That's not to say that they are in good shape right now but if their run of key injuries is over for the season then they should be pretty healthy for the playoffs, and that's all that matters. If they get Edelman back, Amendola is healthy, and the OL has stabilized they could be at their healthiest in January, and that's very possible. The run of injuries has also provided their bench with a ton of playing time and that can also be a big advantage down the stretch.

I have a strange feeling that this is either going to be a loss.... or a comfortable win.

What makes you think either way? o_O

I don't know. For some reason I don't see NE winning a grinder, but I could see a surprisingly comfortable win.

So frustrating that every time we show up in Denver, we do it depleted.

For once I'd LOVE to show up there with a full squad. Could you imagine us going there with Lewis, Squirrel, Dola, Martin, and Collins - all healthy. Oh ****. I'd pay top dollar to see those donkeys get *** raped.

Well... Broncos D ain't worse than the Bills, that's for sure. Unless our O-line get their **** together, and Gronk/Harper/Chandler/Martin can get open, I can't see us scoring much. I have a feeling we'll get a few points from our D. A quick pick-6 would certainly be welcomed.

I don't think it's any more injuries than a team would normally accrue over the season. Last year we were really lucky with only two starters, I believe, going out for the year (mayo and Ridley). We needed everyone else on the team to get past Baltimore and Seattle so our luck with health played a big role.

However this year our injuries have been concentrated at the same position (WR, OL) so they are more noticeable and have a bigger impact. They've also been to our best players at those positions. We've been really lucky on D aside from Collins and Sheard (furiously knocking on wood) and it has manifested itself in our defense being essentially the best in the league.

18 degrees right now....game start 21 and a little bit of wind. Flurries around 5 PM, and some light snow throughout the day, as the game goes on we will have some snow, maybe about 2 inches but that is our overnight accumulation not game time. Funny that the Broncos were practicing in their indoor facility Friday and Saturday...they could have gone outside but the couple times I drove by they were not outside...I live three miles from the practice facility.

I'm just not feeling it today...think it will be tough without DA out there. But you just never know who will step up next, seems like someone always does. I'm less worried about Denver's offense than the defense for sure. Then again I'm not too worried about this game overall...lots of games left.

OH but I am feeling it. I feel just like I did prior to last years Cincinnati game. I feel like Denver's one week love affair with Brock "the one week wonder" Osweiler will be over. I feel that Denver's glimmer of hope after finally tossing the five mile forehead aside will dim to a whimper.

Pats 28
Fillies 17 (including a late game garbage time TD) :D

@Tony2046 I'm just struggling to see how NE is going to move the ball on offense, consistently. With our best WR's out I think Denver can limit Gronk like the Bills did. We need a much bigger game out of Gronk tonight.

Schefter saying Keshawn will be active tonight. No surprise, but good news.
