We're onto Denver

I assume Ryan will be on Sanders?

Amendola, Edelman, Lewis and Dobson (1,741 combined receiving yards) have accounted for 52.3 percent of Tom Brady’s 3,320 passing yards

wow

For some reason I'm reminded of this cartoon:

;)

Was slightly better with Osweiler and the big reason why was they ran for 170 yards on the ground

The passing offense - despite the sacks and staring down receivers - was much better and Brock's athleticism and ability to go under center is big part of why their rushing was improved. It opened up more of the playbook.

Granted, Chicago played really poorly, but Denver would have sucked despite it if Manning had been there.

5 sacks on 32 dropbacks makes me think one thing.

Make Osweiler hold the ball.

I'm expecting a loss.

That being said, I hate the Broncos more than any other team except the Ravens.

Started watching the Patriots in the 1970s, and it's always been the Broncos I hate most--until the Ravens.

This current Broncos team is also very easy to hate. Von Miller, Ward, Peyton.

Lots of D-bags.

With you on hating the Broncos. Strongly disagree on expecting a loss. I may have a heart attack watching this game, like I almost did against the Giants but in the end I believe we pull it off:

BB >> Kubiak
Brady >> Brock
Pats D = Den D
Pats Run = Den Run
Pats TE > Den TE
Pats WR < Den WR
Pats ST > Den ST

There are so many games Denver won because of mistakes by their opponents. I believe the Pats won't make the mistakes to give them another cheesy win.

Game day thread is going to be interesting tomorrow. Especially if the Pats are only leading by 3 going into the half.

I'll save you the agony right now, Tony: I am concerned with how we'll be able to move the ball and score enough points, and I think that's true with most posters.

Our offense is designed for the chemistry of those quick, underneath timing routes, and without Edelman or Amendola, things change dramatically.

Here's hoping for the best.

I am very curious about this game. With Amendola now out this is the first time I think if the Pats win it would very possibly be an upset.

Playing Denver in Denver is hard even with a young QB.

If I am Denver... I double Gronk and use one of my excellent CBs to take out LaFell. Denver is a team that can truly force guys like Harper/Martin/White to carry the day and make it hard on them.

I don't see the Patriots able to have 15 play drives with that being the case. What the Patriots will need to do is have excellent OL blocking and try to hit deeper plays down the field. They need to do this cause it lessens the number of successful conversions you need in a row.

Brady will nee to be on point and up the risk as well as his OL needs to give him time. With Ware out it might be a little easier.

On Defense the Patriots need to do the opposite. Make Osweiler drive the field. He has big time play makers that tend to turn small plays into big ones. The Pats need sure tackling and pressure to force errors.

Stopping the run goes without saying.

To win Brady needs to play great.

I just read something on Reiss's blog that I wasn't aware of:

"2. Brock Osweiler will make the second start of his career. Since 2001, quarterbacks in their first or second career start are 1-8 against Bill Belichick’s Patriots. The only quarterback to beat New England within his first two career starts in that span was Mark Sanchez in 2009."

Is Brock the new Sanchez? Is a buttfumble in order tomorrow?

I think I'll skip it, it will be uglier than usual.

Stop the running game. They will try and establish a running game

Not sure why we are comparing the Bears defense, after all they beat the packers....not sure if that's means a dam thing but shows they are better than what folks think they are.

Only thing people are talking about the Bears defense is that they allowed 170 yards on the ground and held them to 17. If the Pats run defense plays like it has Broncos arent getting even 100 yards on the ground.

Also the Lions held the Packers to 16 points in Lambeau. So two teams that the Packers usually kill in Lambeau held them under 17. Says more about the Packers than anything.

Keshawn Martin is still questionable? After all this time? What the **** happened to his hamstring!?

Judging by the lack of moves, Martin will definitely play.

Sometimes those hamstrings need a few weeks of solid recovery.

Hopefully Martin is good to go from here on out and that hamstring doesn't linger

Also need Chandler to step up big time
