Weather? They said snow and weather under 30?

Two reports. One he is in. One he might play after he tests his knee.

This thread belongs in the water is wet thread until further notice.

Well if its real close, I'd rather he sit and get healthy so as to not aggravate it or make it worse. 1 regular season game isn't worth it, we need him healthy for the playoff run while Edelman rehabs

No Edelman, No Amendola, this has to be the week that Dobson breaks out!

Huh, what?

gronk needs 100 yards. 2-3 catches won't cut it against that defense.
Agreed. Gronk & LaFell are the best we've got. Buffalo was able to blanket Gronk, though, and basically make him invisible save for one big catch. They've got to come up with a way to get him open. I am thinking maybe they go for broke trying to get White and Harper (and maybe Martin, if he can move at all) open on short stuff early on then go for Gronk if they loosen their coverage. This is going to be one tough game. I am thinking the D is going to have to carry a lot of it, going up against an inexperienced starter. Maybe they can get a pick 6 to help us out.

Edit - I did not see the other thread about TE Cleveland being promoted from the practice squad. Looks like they are going with more TE sets, which should be a good thing for Gronk.

can't see them winning with danny out...but to be honest, I'll be glad the undefeated talk will be over if they do lose. No doubt it would be a distraction down the stretch. They can still be the #1 seed, which is all the matters at this point.
Number one seed would be much much easier with a win, giving head to head tie breaker with Denver, who is the most likely competition for it.

i just finished watching last week's doncos - bears game. the thing thst stood out to me most about osweiller is that, while he has an arm, he stares down his receivers a lot. i want to see butler take demarius thomas away and mccourty eliminate sanders and make him throw to his 2nd and 3rd options.
Does he even know how to find his second and third options? If he stares down his receivers he's not looking for an alternative.

Best approach if he stares them down might be to play off his primary and break on the throw for a pick. Chung and McCourty might have some fun with that.

Curran is now saying Amendola is out.

OK I'll say it, I am hoping Martin is out too.

If he isn't fully healed, with the extra effort of game conditions I fear he'll aggravate his hamstring and be out a lot longer.

Go with Lafell, Harper, and Slater, along with Gronk, Chandler, and Cleveland, with White out of the backfield.

Run a lot with the heavy lineup.

We already know it will be a tough game regardless.

We have other games we'll need receivers for besides this one.

This is when a top RB makes a difference. No one game plans for Blount.

Nobody expects Blount to make a difference -- but sometimes he surprises people and does.

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Our chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.... Our *four*...no... *Amongst* our weapons.... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.

I guess on the plus side, even if we lose in Denver I could see us win the following 5 and finish at 15-1 and get a first round bye with Amendola/edelman returning to bring out offense back to strength going into the playoffs.

eagles, titans, texans, jets, dolphins isnt an extremely daunting schedule to finish the season.

Nothing against the rest of your post, but you can't try make a point and use Slater--dude has one career reception. That's as many as Brady.
How about LaFell, Harper, and Martin hopping on one leg?

Weather: been in the 20's today, cloudy and flurries all day, tomorrow much of the same.

When they say front range that means an entire area almost a 100 miles long north to south. Denver and in particular the stadium doesn't see as much snow as us folks 20 miles south.

Local Denver forecast:

Sunday warms just a bit, but remains cloudy and has a better chance for that wintry mix. Throughout the day snow will fall and may accumulate to a few inches in some sections of the Front Range, the northern Front Range in particular. If you are heading to the Broncos' game, bundle up! Temperatures will start in the low 20s before kick-off and drop to around 20 by the end of the game. But expect snow falling throughout.

let slater run a go route against talib...maybe aqib tweaks his hamstring!:D

Man, I love watching games where it's really cold and snow is falling. Particularly when I'm watching from my couch. ;)
