We're onto Denver

Per Steve Burton
Danny Amendola is out against the Broncos. In fact, not even traveling with the team. #WBZ
No news is good new for Martin.

Jeff Howe @jeffphowe

Summary: Amendola's fate vs. DEN has not been decided. Final test is tomorrow. Not leaning one way or the other, sources say.

My question is who has punt return duty? Harper-he covered on short notice, but IMO didnt look BB-level safe back there.

Everything else relatively even but ST booboos would be a killer

He's referring to Amendola or Collins?

Jamie.

I hope he is wrong, but Mike has been pretty on point with Jamie so far. And it makes sense Jamie will not play this weekend.

I wonder if you could go a 3 te sets and keep gronk just as a blocker and away from Ward?

I'd much prefer to send Kong ~ Gronk, to you Earthlings ~ right after that verminous piece of ****.

Much like Cam Neely coming back and going right after that raw Sewage, Ulf Samuelsson.

We don't send Kong away from people, Bro. We send him after them.

No kidding.

I want Ward thrown out of the club!

I think there's a good chance the pats defense pitches their first shut tomorrow

He's done, getting an MRI today. You don't get an MRI if it is something that is minor.

Not necessarily, an MRI is used to assess damage to provide better information for proper treatment. It's just a data gathering tool.

Yep. I dont see DEN going over 17 points....and thats optimistic.

I know this won't be popular and will probably get screamed at by the military wing of Patsfans, but it they were offered the option of just not showing up and taking an L, effectively trading a bye for a loss, I'd take it. I don't like Amendola, Collins, and the O Linemen traveling on a short week into the thin atmosphere and playing a very tough game. All I care about is a first round bye and health.

Not the Patriots way.

Against the GOAT-in-the-making QB?

From Orange Mane (Edit: Quoted for comic relief):

I gotta laugh at the Pats fans that only look at Brock's mechanics, foot work and his "throwing motion" in one game and decide he's back up material, completely overlooking the thing you get more insight into, that being his mental reaction to his first game with so much at stake for him. He demonstrated composure, the game was not too big for him, he played his best when the pressure was the most, like completing 3rd down passes for 1st downs. He has the early signs of having the elusive "it". This 25 year old kid with very little starting experience anywhere is going to be a winner and maybe out of the gate. He has the Favre, Montana, Elway focused, determined mind set. He appears to one of those rare ones that rise to the occasion. His skill set is yet to be determined but the ceiling on that looks high as well, at least to the early eye test IMO.

I have a strange feeling that this is either going to be a loss.... or a comfortable win.

From Orange Mane:

Brock looked very comfortable last week, but so did Tyrod Taylor against a similarly poor defense in week one. Way too early to form any conclusions about the kid.

It'd be awesome to win this one as it'd just about lock up a bye, but folks gotta face facts there. The offense is decimated w injury and outside of a few drives hasn't looked great since Dion Lewis got hurt. They've looked like a 17 ppg offense frankly.
Also let's not discard Brady's historically meh performances in Denver. Its easily annually the toughest AFC road game for any east coast conference opponent.
As many have said this game is on the defense to win...Brady will be playing with a lot of college level talent on offense...

27 points
27 points
20 points

Ya definitely have looked like a 17 point offense.

Going by your logic then we shouldn't discard Brady's historically good/great performance against Wade Phillips defense.
