His combo platter of weight gain + ankle injury has made him bad enough to be demoted this year. He's not a career long stiff, and he seems to have turned a corner, but he was awful in the middle of this season.

When your teams "greatness" is predicated on broken plays...you're not that great to begin with. Rodgers has never looked "amazing" from within the pocket. I think Green Bay needs a new system.

24 TDs, 4 INTs. Do you think they'll bench him?
I think it's a combination of his own injury, injuries to players around him, and an out of sync offense. Rodgers is one incredible quarterback who is not getting it done this year for whatever reason, but it's not like he's chopped liver either.
The speed at which posters here are ready to rip down a great player to make themselves feel better about a Pats player is beyond ridiculous. It's really an embarrassment for rational Pats fans.
We have a thread knocking down a guy who has his team at 7-4 while throwing 24 TDs to 4 INTs. This is 'being exposed'?
Good lord.
ETA: I suppose that goes to show how great Rodgers has actually been the past 6-7 years. He's getting knocked for having an elite level season and keeping his team in the playoff hunt despite injuries and coaching struggles.
You do make a reasonable point however, we're in week 12 of this season, not week 4 of last season. Nelson's been out long enough for Green Bay to adjust, they simply haven't.Patriots fans shouldn't be casting stones. Have you forgotten the first 4 weeks of last season already?
Wins when Packers have trailed by at least 9 points in a game, at any point in his career: 0
You don't get to have it both ways. If you're going to be graded in the "GOAT" division, you get graded on a curve, and this stuff deserves to be mentioned.
You can't say "OMG HE'S THE BEST", and then when he can't overcome a couple of injuries, then say "But but but...0-line, receivers, defense, etc".
It's not "ripping a great player". It's putting a very good player into his proper category.
No one has once said "Rodgers Sucks". That's an invention in your minds. He's just not the best in the league, and nor should he garner that kind of discussion until he proves he can do it. If anything, this year, he's proven he can't.
6 straight playoff appearances. A Super Bowl win. 105.1 career passer rating (#1 all time by a large margin). Just read he was the fastest ever to 250 TDs.
This is the guy that the thread is calling 'exposed'. One yahoo called him Erin Fraudgers. WTF is this? 6th grade?
You might not be ripping a great player, but there are plenty here ripping him. Comparing him to Culpepper when he lost Moss. Puh-lease. If anything it's the opposite, Rodgers made Nelson elite, whereas Moss made Culpepper.
Some people just can't handle anyone disagreeing with their precious little opinion. How can you fault someone for calling Rodgers the best in the league? He's been better statistically than Brady and had nearly identical post season performance since he became a starter in 2009 (Rodgers is 6-5, 1 SB, 101 QBR, Brady is 7-5, 1 SB, 90 QBR).
It's everyone but Rodger's fault
O-line's fault
WRs' fault
Defense's fault
Coaches' fault
Management's fault
RBs' fault
Refs' fault
Injuries' fault
Practice Squad players' fault
Schedule's fault
Patriots' fault
