2:20 to 3:55 if anyone wants to watch Butler vs. Sanders from 2014

So he did participate (or is that a typo)?
To me the walkthrough is a lesser item while 'did not participate' is a much bigger deal.

It doesn't look like he did, who knows for sure?

Danny Amendola (knee) misses Patriots practice Wednesday

Danny Amendola (knee), Justin Coleman (hand), Jamie Collins (illness), Aaron Dobson (ankle), Matthew Slater (not injury related) and Julian Edelman(football) all did not participate at the walkthough. Amendola was present during media availability, but as it turned out, was just a spectator

Yeah, I remember Butler having a good game against Denver last year. That's when Manning was still Manning, too. At that point, he was still a better QB than Osweiler will ever be.

When it comes to pressure you guys are facing a far better defense then the bills defense. The bills are 29th in sacks vs the Broncos being #1. You guys are right behind us at #2. This game will will probably come down which oline plays better.

The Patriots have two of the finest run blocking young linemen in the NFL in G Shaq Mason and C Brian Stork. Watch for the Patriots to pound the rock at your pass rushers with Blount, Bolden and White, three very different backs. Belichick knows old school run-to-set-up-the pass football.

I agree with everyone who thinks that this will be a low-scoring affair.

Good news. This team has had zero pass rush without Ware. He likely won't be playing on Sunday.

Even when he comes back, I doubt he will be the same player he was earlier in the season.

Well they had 2 sacks last week against the Bears and 5 the week before against KC. I think they lead the league in sacks? Not positive.

But he isn't playing anyway, didn't practice today. I bet Mathis is out also but I think he is overrated anyway. Mathis was having dinner at a table next to me recently...dude is huge, ate a 32 ounce steak like it was nothing ha ha...plus craps loads of other stuff....I feel full watching him...lol

Could Collins miss the game vs Denver?

Could Collins miss the game vs Denver?

Maybe. I would sit him. Defense is playing well now, and they'll be going up against an awful offense with an inexperienced QB. No need to rush Collins back.

I'll feel a lot better about Collins if Ware is out as well.

It's predicted to be pretty damn cold Sunday night.. does anyone know how cold weather in high altitude affects ball "handling" in comparison to cold weather in lower altitude? For example, a punt in Denver will go further than it would in New England (same temp), but how much will a 50° temperature difference have? Would the affect from cold weather be the exact same in both altitudes? I'm just curious because the last time we played there, wasn't it like 60-70°? I've always wondered how hard it is for a QB to calibrate deep throws depending on altitude and temp. I'm rambling now..

Not a problem as Tom can't throw deep anyway

This just came over the twitter feed and I think it is a pretty nice compliment to BB.

Andy Hart @JumboHart
Wade Phillips on Belichick: my dad said one time, 'Belichick can take his team and beat yours, but could also take your team and beat his.'

That Bum quote was in reference to Shula; Wade mis-remembers.

The quote as I remember it was Bum refering to Shula and saying "He can take his'n and beat your'n and then take your'n and beat his'n."

According to this:

Bum Phillips Quotes

he said it in reference to Bear Bryant. I suspect, though, that it was a Bum-ism that he used for any coach he thought was really good.

Asante Cleveland promoted to roster. This makes me think we'll be going heavy on TE's packages to preserve Brady's ability to get rid of ball fast by hitting short route combos. This will be easier on our OL.

Tom Curran on EEI this afternoon sounding like Sunday night is gonna be Kansas City all over.
