NFL Thanksgiving Day Games

Wonder if Rodgers' injury is serious. They better double check it before their next offensive series.

Favre comes in the game? LOL

On a serious note i hope Rodgers is okay.

Shhhhhhhhh. That's blashemy. NG PATS FAN will disagree with that.

I've been arguing this all day and I'm a moron. Manning isn't a first ballot guy either.

Manning not being a first ballot hall of fame is ridiculous. He clearly has earned that privilege

No sympathies for the Packers on that one. After Butler and Chung's bogus calls that kept the giants drive alive 2 weeks ago.

Love me a receiver that doesn't complain for PI calls every play. Also one that has no reaction when he gets one.. Just walks to the LOS

I don't think he should be.

The only QBs I think should be FBHOFers are

For sure

Brady/Montana

Probably/Maybe

Staubach/Unitas/Starr/Baugh

Manning has too many question marks with his career to deserve the honor.

I believe we allow too many HOFers and too many first ballot HOF.

First ballot HOF is the highest honor in the sport and a lot of the guys who got it don't deserve it and a few players should have got it who didn't.

Let Favre get in on the 2nd ballot. They won't... but he should.

IMO a FBHOF should be for guys like John Hannah, Lawrence Taylor, Tom Brady. Jerry Rice, Reggie White, Joe Montana. Guys of that level. The absolute best of the best.

I would say really IMO maybe only 30 guys deserve the honor as of now in all of football history.

The entire notion of "not worthy of being a first ballot HOFer" is asinine. You're either worthy of being in the Hall, or you aren't. After that, it should just be a matter of numbers. Any voter, from any sport, who withholds a vote because someone isn't "first ballot worthy" should immediately, and permanently, stripped of all voting privileges.

Ok we have to agree to disagree on that one

A guy who has played as long as manning who has a Super Bowl ring/MVP. 5 NFL Mvps and holds every major passing record should first ballot

I see FBHOF as the HOF of the HOF. I think a lot of people who have HOF votes in other sports do as well.

Your view is perfectly find but a lot of people consider it to be that and i think that is just as fair as your view.

Personally I would not mind having 2 Hales of Fame.. One of the top of the top and one of the other great players and do away with the FBHOF status all together.

Screen pass after Screen pass after screen pass after screen pass, holy screen pass!

I suspect Brett is still salty towards Aaron and the Packers organization.

Looked like Bears TD on 1st down, wtf

Gase should have called a screen pass on 1st and goal. It would have worked...

I understand. Agree to disagree. I get where you are coming from though.

I simply don't care as much as you do about some of those things. Not to say you are wrong. I just see it differently.

Manning is definitely a 1st ballot. So's Dan Marino.

No he isn't. Playoff record dooms him. I do agree with Deus, either you are in or you aren't. That being the case, then Favre and Manning and Marino are out.

Montana, Brady and Graham are in. Easy.

It depends. How many people are you allowing in? How would your system work. Depending on that i might agree or disagree with that.

If I'm Chicago, I'd play the run and short pass. Force injured Rodgers to throw deep

Brady never seems to react to harshly to pain, I remember he had a swollen hand the most he did was flex it a bit and hide in his warmer or slight limp once.

And of course as I'm righting this Favre is bragging about his injuries...
