WR Aaron Dobson placed on IR

It wasn't like Dobbs was having a breakout season.

Harper and Martins time to show up.

Time to draft more college QBs in the 6th and 7th rounds.

not the greatest receiving core. edelman cant return soon enough!

If Dobson was the only WR injured, and the injury was only a few weeks, they may have saved a spot for him, who knows.

Dobson is only 24 years old so essentially next season he will be the same age as Dion Lewis was when he burst on the scene this year. I wouldn't count him out, he is well liked in the locker room and has a great relationship with Brady, he still has a lot of upside. His career to this point has actually been similar to Edelman's, good rookie year, non existent in year 2, and minimal contributions in year 3.

Interesting that McDonald was re-signed to fill the roster spot.

I don't think he should buy a house in the area just yet.

I guess they wanted to see how bad Dobson's ankle was, and if he could return soon enough to be useful, before deciding to IR him.

We could use another RB, and I wouldn't have been surprised to see Cleveland or Fauria signed to the 53.

I hate to bring it up, but isn't it the same with Lewis? Obviously the production isn't even comparable, but can you count on Lewis to stay healthy? I'd be interested to hear the thoughts on that.

KT was an UDFA not sure he can be classified as a flame out. Dobson is on very thin ice in TC next year.

IMO Chris HArper will take advantage of the opportunity this presents to him, yeah i know he doesn't play the same position as Dobson.

He had the ability but didn't have the toughness or mentality.

They're the best at developing wr's

Sadly, you'd think that's the end of his Patriots career. It's a real shame as Dobson looks to have some ball skills but if you can't stay healthy, it's call the Not For Long league for a reason.
