We're onto Denver

I wonder if you could go a 3 te sets and keep gronk just as a blocker and away from Ward?

Someone has to go out for a pass at some point.

No, not what meant at all. It's about the use of O2 (masks) on the sideline, nothing about water. Does it help or not. There are folks on both sides of the argument, studies etc. that say it might help or might not. At least at sea level or even at 5k feet. I personally have used it during heavy exercise as an experiment with a group of folks and can say for me there was no benefit. Granted if your subject to low O2 levels, below 90 for example it would certainly help. But a healthy athlete? like I said there are folks that know this much better than me that have very different opinions on it.

Oh and separate from what's above, water intake here in Denver is a key to dehydration prevention, that's fact.

Thanks for the elaboration. :)

Hoping for Ware and Sanders to sit this one out. Too bad Talib didn't shove his finger down one of the Bears players' eye sockets, so he could ice up on the sidelines as well.... who else am I missing? Our offense isn't in top shape personnel wise by any stretch or form, but Denver's offense is garbage.

The way I see it:

Our offensive players (w/ injuries) = Broncos offense (with a slight edge to us considering we have the GOAT behind the wheel)
Our defense = Broncos defense (considering their QB situation and presumably no Sanders)
Denver has no run game, and our run D will step on Hillman's throat.

That leaves the QBs.... nothing else to add here. As long as our O-line shows up, Brady will do doughnuts around this ****y motherf**ker kid.

I expect a low scoring slugfest, but no reason to think we can't pull this off. Too bad we're not healthy. I'd love nothing more than to murder these donkeys in their own house.

Both Ware and Mathis didn't practice.

I don't see Collins or DA playing, I know they are at Gillette but that doesn't mean a thing and in a short week neither one does the walk through? If anyone, I see DA playing but I think it is a long shot.

Does that mean you also think Ware and Mathis won't play? Because they too didn't practice.

Also Amendola might not have officially practiced but he was at the walkthrough

DA was not at the walkthrough, that was reported incorrectly, reported later that he didn't not participate.

I bet Ware doesn't play. But I'm cheating ;), local media already a saying it might be a couple more weeks before he plays. I don't know about Mathis but when you don't practice on Wednesday during a holiday week...I think the odds are against them.

Anyway I hope DA plays but only if he isn't risking further injury to the knee.

I want to win the game but not at the expense of DA potentially hurting a weakened knee. Unless he's really feeling good I would hold him out and live to fight another day.

Its not like they are in the exosphere and need space suits. They need to hydrate a ton a few days in advance and they'll be fine.

It isn't so much that they are traveling to Denver, it is just that they are traveling a long ways. I'm thinking two weeks of rest at this point in the season, with so many players with fresh injuries that are vulnerable to reinjury, plus the fatigue, that two weeks of rest and playing one less game than everyone else would be worth a loss. They may lose anyway, and they may not need the win to get a first round bye. So I'm weighing things in my hands and wondering.

"Nervous Nellies" is not accurate.

Ware will likely sit, but even if he plays he will be a non factor. That back issue will bother him for the rest of the season.

Sanders will probably play. Put Butler one on one on DT (Butler did very well vs A. Robinson who has been having a great season and is a big WR like DT) and have Ryan on Sanders, maybe with some safety help on occasion. We're very good vs TEs, so that won't be a problem either.

So he did participate (or is that a typo)?
To me the walkthrough is a lesser item while 'did not participate' is a much bigger deal.

Two weeks rest would always be ideal but this is the NFL. Players play hurt and perform at a high level all the time on a weeks rest.

...and they aren't losing.

DA was DNP but I don't see it as a big deal. Even if he straps on a brace and guts it out, he is hobbled and it is not reasonable to expect him to put up anything like the kind of numbers he did last week.

When it comes to pressure you guys are facing a far better defense then the bills defense. The bills are 29th in sacks vs the Broncos being #1. You guys are right behind us at #2. This game will will probably come down which oline plays better.

In spite of watching every game during the B&B era, I still have no idea how the Pats will respond this week. They have a way of fooling us.
