It's easy, and only takes a few moments. This deserves its own thread.Breaking News: I have been trying to contact the Patriots to let them know that I am willing to have a tryout to play WR for them. So far I have only been able to speak to a cashier at the Pro Shop and she said some not very nice things to me. More details to come.....
That's my Quarterback...
I can't comment on how TO (or Moss) might fit into the Pats culture but if either occupied Dobson's (who goes on IR) roster spot, and they failed to contribute, then so what ..... nothing will have changed by adding them.
I don't disagree that ther my still be some future hope (though it is dwindling very fast) for Dobson but, with this latest high ankle sprain injury, I'm not sure Dobson has any chance to help this team out any way this season. As such, he might as well be placed on IR. If so, then most anyone (even the likes of an aging Moss or TO) could suitably replace him without any downgrade in performance. IMHO.TO or Moss are past the end of their playing careers (not having praciced or played a snap in years). If they don't contribute it is because they are no longer able to or desire to contribute. Their ceiling was already identified and their well documented downward production trend says this is exactly what we can expect from them without any chance of it improving. There would be a 0.0% (rounded off to a tenth) chance of production improvement.
Dobson is coming into what will/would be the peak years of his production. Sure, it is not much of a peak so far that is for sure, however, he has an identifiable chance to snap into being more productive than previously demonstrated the past 26 games. He still has an unknown ceiling. It may not be a great chance to achieve a higher ceiling but it is a quantifiable chance to hit a new one. IMHO the main thing holding back Dobson is health. IMHO his rookie year production of 11 games with 37 catches, 4 TDs and a 14 yard per catch average will be surpassed if the guy can stay healthy long enough to be out practicing instead of using up that valuable time in rehab.
Take it FWIW....
Can't blame t.o for wanting to jump on the bandwagon lol
