The ESPN announcers said the Bills were having headset communication issues, but that doesn't seem to have been reported anywhere else. What that a false report (it is ESPN, after all), or am I missing something?

tyrod taylor point at his helmet during the game which means "i can't hear" so obviously radio trouble, trouble that MOST DEFINITELY had nothing to do with rex taking off his head set and spiking it into the ground.

They went on to say the Bills have been having headset issues everywhere they go. It didn't sound to be an attempted shot at the Pats home field.

The Bills have notably had problems with their headsets in a few games this season.

Rexy did mention a communication problem in his post game presser. He didn't get specific so it could have been anything from radio/headset to coaches taking too long to get their sh!+ together.

why the hell did Blubbaguts need a headset...he was ON the field all night as it was anyways...jeezus,he may as well just joined the freakin' huddle

Maybe if Rex didn't spike his headset everytime he's upset, they'd have better luck with them.

There's your headset issue.

Yes. As a rule, if one side can't use it, neither side can.

Funny thing is, you never hear the Patriots complain about it or look confused. Because, shocking as this may be, they PREPARE for that kind of contingency, using systems of communications that have been around since Ugg had to tell Urr that there was a Sabertooth Tiger in the bushes.

Yes. In fact, it seemed that they were going to great pains to squelch it. They seemed a bit overly sensitive (for once) to be seen as Patriot-baiting at that moment. Tirico and Gruden started nervously listing all the other times this season that they had headset problems (London, etc.).

It was almost as if they were getting yelled at in their headsets from the suits in "Legal".

Yea I took it the exact same way you did. Tirico didn't take that anywhere close to implying Patriots involvement with the issue.

ESPN is well aware that there is a perception that they are the submissive little lapdogs for the NFL and are biased in their reporting of any/all news regarding the Patriots.

Me thinks Rex would've been issued another headset after destroying the first one.

WTF did Wrecks expect? He treated his headset all night as if it had Spaulding emblazoned on it...

I'm sure that their is someone on the Pats staff who has gone to Motorola school (or whoever supplies the radios) and is an expert on how they work and troubleshooting them. I doubt that Rex has anyone on his staff that has any idea about how they work.
