Glad to hear it, but I'm not counting this chicken until it is hatched and active Sunday night.

Fantastic news , much needed after all the injuries the last few weeks. I feel better now and our chances for a win go up !

Why the PatsFans *********** r.e. chris harper? Am I missing something? This is where I think some fans take the next man up thing a bit too far...

R.e. Amendola...Im torn r.e. him playing sun night cuz if they can win in Denver they pretty much wrap up at least a bye...and him playing gives em the best chance

Too good to be true??

My thoughts exactly. I fully expect him to be IR'd Saturday night. This team has not caught an injury break in quite awhile.

He was a preseason standout, even playing against starters. Lacks measurables, which will likely kill his pro potential, but he might be one of those rare guys who just finds ways to get open. Sometimes you get guys like that, and all they need is a chance. A lot of us who saw him in preseason think he might be that kind of guy. I don't think anyone's penciling him in as a starting-caliber WR, but we're interested to see if he can capitalize on the opportunity he's been given.

Because some pats fans are in love with slot receivers. There so delusional that they think Chris Harper would fit in better with our offense than Julio Jones or Deandre Hopkins

Because he lit it up in pre-season. Because he smells like an offensive version of Butler. Played well, cut, then signed to practice squad. Quick, athletic and good hands with last night showing it. You realize he also knocked the longball fiasco ball away, just bad luck the DB was there to grab it. Shows awareness.

Maybe this Harper stuff is coming from people who actually recognize plays like that, which indicate something more than just nothing.

I can confidently state that there are exactly zero Pats fans who would take Chris Harper over Jones or Hopkins.

Pre-season isn't real, Brian tyms player great last off-season and he has what one catch before week 17?

I saw kenbrell thompkins, josh Boyce, Aaron Dobson, bethel johnson, bam childress, etc show the same "stuff" as Harper in preseason...

Maybe I'm missing something but did harper get open a lot last night? Did he have a catch? Was he targeted much?

Don't sleep on Harper. Made a great catch that got negated by a ticky tack hold (compared to what the Bills OL was getting away with) and then Brady made a throw to him in triple coverage. Better throw by Brady and Harper would have had them 1st and goal.

I'm not saying he is going to be an Edelman replacement but Brady looked for him in tight coverage twice. IMO it speaks a certain volume.

By ticky tack hold you mean a garbage Left Tackle TACKLING the DE? I don't think Brady needed the Hold to get the pass off, but lets not pretend that Canon didn't tackle his man with his arms wrapped around the guys neck (assuming I'm remember the correct play).

Some entrepreneurs from Patsfans.com should get together and do a Kickstarter for a website that grades all the calls (and no-calls) of NFL games and provides stats of everything penalty (or not a penalty) related.

Would make for some very interesting reading.. and probably make a lot of money. :)

Very good. Now it is all on the OL to play well.

The Keys to the game (skill wise) will be Gronk Amendola Lafell & White. I want to see those 4 early and often. If the OL holds it should be enough. Not ideal but enough.

he did

but lets also not pretend that hughs pulled brady down late...

Brady was also hit late on a few occasions, and he didnt get a single call last night

Must be the voodoo magic of homeopathy, where less drug/more dilution means more potency.

Less is more, and nothing is everything! Thus maybe no recovery time at all is best!

Buy my sugar pills NOW!

I think he's taking the Guerrero juice.

Combined with the play of James White the Patriots seem ready to handle the setbacks dealt by the loss of Lewis and Edelman, Edelman, dbacks be backpedalin......

He is nothing like the offensive version of Butler..

Dont get it twisted, Butler went undrafted because he played in a small, division 2 school. Other than that, he has all the measurables to be a high rd draft pick (maybe minus size )

Harper went to Cal, and played good competition in the Pac12. This is nothing against Harper, but not every player that gets signed from the practice squad is going to be the next big thing. Ill be more than satisfied if Harper takes up DA ST role, and catches a ball or 2 a game.

Compared to the stuff the bills ol was getting away with that was a weak call.
