whew..good news. now the line needs to be fixed.
I knew Curran would get the scoop first. Haha he works with Amendola's gf

patsnation should of bombarded her with tweets about amendola.

I wouldn't be surprised either way if DA plays or not this weekend.

Glad to log on to good news. I feel like we should rest him next week regardless. We have a very favorable schedule after that and need him to lock up the #1 seed. A loss in Denver ain't the end of the world.

So, can we start the 'Amendola Injury Watch, Week 12' thread now or do we need to wait until he's declared active?
It would need to be merged into this one, this is for the 2015 season.

Well any hope that martin can play against denver?
seems like there was enough discussion that he might be ready to go against the Bills to merit optimism about his availability against DEN

Why would anyone think otherwise? This team has been screwed by injuries to key players that have derailed seasons. Sure, be "positive" all you want, but this is an injury to a player who's had a history of missing games due to injury. I'd love for him to be back in Denver & play, but history says he won't and history says he'll be out an extended period of time.
People on here were saying Solder would be back the next week because "he was in the locker room." People on here were also saying that Lewis would be back in a "few weeks." The fact that Amendola didn't go to the locker room means nothing, just like the fact that Solder was in the locker room post game means nothing.
Early reports saying they don't expect Amendola to miss extended time. So probably not "SIX WEEKZ ZOMGGGGG". Hopefully this will help you take a step back off the Tobin a bit.

good catch. you can see him hop and then grab at his knee. at the top of screen:

Thanks for posting, he's hopping the entire time.

Don't be White played great, 2 TD. He will take on the Dion role. Harper has good hands. His catch (invalidated because of a penalty) was spectacular. We just need the Texan WR back if Dola can't play.

Hope you're right about White, but I don't think we've seen anything to suggest quite as much of a comparison to Lewis as you seem to feel.

Aside from catching a pass out of the backfield last night and breaking a tackle, all signs had indicated that he wasn't doing too well. Either way, he's got his opportunity now, so let's hope he makes the best of it.

Definitely hold him out and give him a chance to recover. Lots of teams like to say they are championship driven, but that justifies their paychecks. Here we are. No sure news on when Edelman will be able to play if at all this year.

Harper and Martin should be able to handle the games Amendola is out. Last night Harper showed some real good hands and on the interception I thought he made a heck of a defensive play, it just bounced up into a Bill's hands. Martin was given another week to get right.

Dobson looked done for the year to me.

If our primary pass catchers for a few games are Gronk, LaFell, Martin, White, Chandler, Harper, Boldin, Blount. I am ok with that. Blount this year really has surprised with his pass catching.

My guess and this is just going off how the guy played with his muscle torn off his groin for a whole season he probably plays.

If it's just a pain thing, then I agree. Are knee sprains prone to further injury by playing on them?

Dobson looked done for the year to me.

If he weren't Dobson, I'd disagree. As is, he just isn't a productive enough player to sit and wait on if this is a 4-5 week injury.

"How he responds to treatment" = Danny says "f*** your treatment, I'm playing"

I disagree. I would wait 5 weeks on Dobson. With how banged up the receivers are, I don't want to voluntarily IR one we might need come January. Sure would be nice to have Darryl Roberts right now, yeah? Same deal.

ST is huge, if we don't recover the Buf fumble during a punt this game could have been a lot closer. I don't like seeing Dola back there either but if that's the best we have then so be it.

Yeah, I can see it either way and obviously will be happy with whatever decision Belichick makes.

That said, it's understandable to question whether or not someone else could do it, based on the current depth chart of the position as well as DA's obvious importance to the team.

I don't think there's much to suggest that PRs are necessarily dangerous, but I may tend to be a bit more cautious due to Amendola's injury.

Dobson is not worth waiting five weeks, when we could use the roster slot to promote a PS player that could help on the OL, CB or even WR.

Harper had a spectacular catch and one that a so so receiver does not make.

.

Brian Tyms says hello. Sometimes JAG receivers make extraordinary catches, it happens.

This isn't me making a judgement on Harper - just playing devils advocate to your statement.

Give the new fans a break, they don't understand how these things work yet.

I don't think that it's out of left field to question things when you take certain factors such as: 1) His importance to the offense via quick, timing routes, 2) His injury history, and 3) The lack of depth behind him into account.

As always, we'll happily defer to Belichick, but I don't think there's necessarily a "rule" that can't be reassessed based on the current situation. At the end of the day, the truth is probably that there's no one who can come close to replicating his PRs. It may be as simple as that.

I just disagree... The team has all the pieces they need active on the OL, they just need to settle into roles and get reps together. No practice squad guy is gonna solve that. Same with CB, just a matter of Coleman getting healthy again.

Yup. With only two viable healthy CBs and 3 RBs, you simply cannot carry three injured WRs (assuming Amendola misses a game or two), and possibly even four if Martin isn't ready yet.

Maybe if this were week 14 and NE already had banked enough wins to clinch a bye, but we're not quite there yet.
