One of the hits on Brady, he was holding his head on the ground.. I really thought he got a concussion or something like that...

This very dangerous as the Broncos D come Sunday.

Rex had a great defensive game plan against us, as is usually the case.

It's sad but expected that all but a few of us on here are just disregarding the fact that the Pats at least once a year have this type of game against a Rex defense.

'14 Week 16- Brady 23/35 182 yards 1 TD 1 INT Sacked 4x-- Pats scored 17

'13 Week 2- 19/39 185 1 TD- Pats offense scored 13
----Week 7- 22/46 228 0 TD 1 INT Sacked 4x - Pats offense only scored 20 (Logan Ryan had an 80 yard INT return)

'12 Week 7- 26/42 259 2 TD- Pats offense scored 22 points (McCourty had a 104 KO return TD)

'11- Brady got Rex both games.

'10- Week 2- 2o/36 248 2 TD 2 INT- Pats only score 14
Divisional- We all remember that one

'09- Week 2- 23/47 21 0 TD 1 INT- Pats only scored 9 points

'07- Week 13- 18/38 257 2 TD 1 INT Sacked 3x - 27 points scored but the last 7 were helped by Rex calling a TO.

I'd rather it be this game than the playoffs if the Bills are a wildcard team. This game didn't surprise me at all. I did expect the o-line to be better, but Brady have trouble wasn't surprising.

I think the OL is a work in progress - hard to "blame" guys who are playing out of position. In contrast, I actually applaud them for being able to execute as well as they have. I think I am bothered by the fact that everyone knew Rex would bring the whole "guys stroll around and don't show blitz vs. drop back" until the last second or the high % of blitzes that were fed to us...but we still didn't have an answer for it all game long.

Chiefs game last year was worse overall . The o line will come around. Brady almost got killed though yesterday . Theoretically Denver can do the same to us especially if ware plays . Lets see .........
Good analysis by Bruschi on oline

I remember that play. Stupid refs didn't thrown the flag.

Ryan had 11 days to prepare and recognized that our O-line was a bunch of moving parts again - we're really at the point we were at around week 3 last year. O-line is all about recognition and communication, so I'm told and Rex took advantage of that yesterday.

It has to get better, and quickly.

I hate Cannon at LT - think Vollmer is much better there, and Cannon is better at RT. This coming week, though, that means Von Miller.

I expect Denver to do some serious press coverage against us and maybe have Ward coming hard at Brady a lot.

Given how hot salty Brady was towards his OL, I think we can count on a very intense week of work for that group.
He should be salty. If he keeps taking those kind of hits at age 38, he's not going to make it through the rest of the season. I haven't seen Brady consistently take the shots that he has in the last two weeks since Super Bowl XLII.

They need the work IMO. You think Brady was salty...they were lucky that they didn't have me yelling in their ears. THEY SUCKED LAST NIGHT!!

Yeah, I've never seen Brady throw his team under the bus the way he did last night. He didn't pull a Peyton, but he was out of character for himself.

Just like Washington gave NE some "safe" prep for NYG's diverse weapons, I'm hoping Rex just gave NE's coaches some advice on what holes to patch in preparation for Denver.

The Pats were missing a lot of pieces and then lost Amendola. I expected a low scoring game and we got one.

I think you have to give credit to the Bills D Line as well. It's not like every team has guys like they do.
True, but given that Kyle Williams missed the game and Dareus was hurt pretty early on, it wasn't nearly as strong a unit as it usually is. Still good, but not so good as to excuse the OL's performance last night.

Expect to see "Brady - Probable (shoulder)" on the injury report this week

Yup, Amendola saved the Pats against the Jets last year in the first game and the Pats barely survived the last game. Rex does generally play the Pats tough.

Gotta give Rex credit, he wanted to hit Brady every play.
