Injury Update: Dobson's X-rays give good news

So a sprain? Still a 4-6 week injury

If you watch the replay the DB grabbed his foot and twisted a little bit. It's probably a sprain. Watkins had the same kind of thing in the week 2 Pats game, was on crutches and then I think missed one or two games. So if it's not broken, then it can't be that bad based on how the foot was pulled.

BUT WHAT BOUT AMENDOLER?

Well, whatever it was, he was limping off pretty bad. I think the question is how long can you keep a roster spot open for a guy who wasn't doing much anyway, if he's going to be out a month (or whatever).

I don't know how many of these injured guys we can keep who can't play and can't be put on an exempt list, and still field a team.

Couldn't care less about his availability for the remainder of the season. The guy is useless.

I care far more about Amendola's status.
If Ernie could hurry up and finish his Magical Player Fusion Machine so we could combine Aaron Dobson and Chris Harper into one big and tall receiver who is both fast and quick and also has great hands, that would be great.

Way off topic but I'd kill for 2003 Kevin Faulk right now.

So nothing was broken and he reacted like that? Jane Dobson is soft. I thought he had a broken leg.

Dobson is a soft scrub who the team should have moved on from long ago.

Lets just pray and hope we don't make another mistake with a early WR in next years draft. Im pretty sure this year has showed its time to take one fairly early again. Not to mention, the available FA list next year for WR's isn't very promising.

Unfortunately for Dobson, the lack of healthy bodies at WR is likely going to determine his fate this season. If Amendola and Martin can't go this week, Dobson may have to be IR'd to bring in a other wide out. Hard to imagine them going into a game with two active receivers while 3 injured ones are inactive (not including Slater, for obvious reasons).

Id break a dozen Dobson ankles just to get a piece of news about Amendola.

Why is it that the Patriots always end up drafting "fragile" players?

If Dobson is on IR, that will be that LAST we will be seeing him....
