Internally, Patriots are leaning towards keeping DT Chris Jones (calf) on PUP/IR instead of activating him to 53-man roster this year.
That must suck for him. Busts his ass to get healthy and when he is healthy he can't play b/c of roster gyrations. Thats the business.....
I expect Fletcher to be activated and Martin waived.
I think down the line they'll need Seal again anyway.
Umm.. From what is being reported, Jones isn't healthy, which is why they are leaning towards IRing him..
BTW, you should be more specific about which Martin your talking about.. There are two on the team..
Martin contributed on ST yesterday. Better move would be Dobson to IR if that sprain will keep him off the field for the next few weeks, IMHO.Yea this article made me think he was a little closer....
Jones ready to come off Pats' sideline
Martin the LB.
If Dobson does go to IR then your proposal does make complete sense.Martin contributed on ST yesterday. Better move would be Dobson to IR if that sprain will keep him off the field for the next few weeks, IMHO.
Yes.. Because we have such a plethora of receivers for this to happen..Martin contributed on ST yesterday. Better move would be Dobson to IR if that sprain will keep him off the field for the next few weeks, IMHO.
