We're onto Denver

No you are doomed with the negative outlook. I'm looking forward to the players and the coaching staff working hard to develop cohesion and improving.

There is nothing to suggest that they won't improve.
Probably best o-line coaching in the league past 15-20 years. Looked awful last night but, if anyone can fix it it'll be BB and Dave DeGuglielmo.

It's almost always doom and gloom around here after we play a Rex Ryan defense. I don't know why you guys keep forgetting that this guy's teams usually play us tough. He made our defense look pedestrian last year (with a less talented defense that Buffalo has this year) despite the fact that we were blowing everyone else out. Week 2 was an exception, because the Bills were still learning his defense.

I agree that the injuries are concerning, but people are overreacting.

Regarding Denver - if we were healthy, we would drop at least 30 on them. Given the injuries, I see about 23 points on offense, which will be more than enough to win. I don't see Denver putting up more than 10 points. Buffalo has been playing better all round football in recent weeks than Denver.

When it comes to pressure you guys are facing a far better defense then the bills defense. The bills are 29th in sacks vs the Broncos being #1. You guys are right behind us at #2. This game will will probably come down which oline plays better.
Sacks don't tell the whole story. The Bills have a very good defense and pressured Brady all night long. Denver's defense is also good, but I don't think they are "far better" than Buffalo. Rex Ryan's defenses have given Brady much bigger problems than Wade Phillps have historically.

Your defense hasn't gotten any pressure the last few weeks though. What helped Buffalo last night was that they had Rex Ryan. He knows how to play against Brady. He gave us multiple looks which really confused the Oline. Wade Phillips is the antithesis of Rex Ryan, in that Brady is pretty much his daddy.

We have a ton of injuries, which is what will help you keep our point total low, but your D won't play as well against us as a Rex Ryan coached defense.

Is Demarcus Ware due back on Sunday?? I don't think Brady can stomach another punishment like last night and Denver's D is better.
It's better but different, Brady has had a lot more success against Wade Phillips than Rex.

Honestly, though, losing this one is fine. We HAD to split Buffalo and Denver. A win would just be icing, I had my cake last night. We have to lose 3 games to lose the bye, and that's if Cincy/Den go undefeated other than their H-H.

First off this is a hat and t-shirt game for the Pats, win and they win the AFC East, secondly a win would pretty much assure the Pats a first round bye (it would put Denver 3.5 games back of the Pats with 5 to play).

Talib is still in the concussion protocol, so he might not play. Hopefully Amendola will be OK. In any game were the starting QBs are Brady versus a guy in his second NFL start, I'm going to take Brady.

I doubt Belichick sees it that way. A win next week gives us prime pole position for the #1 seed. If we get the win, we have a much larger "fudge factor" going forward in the remaining games.

I don't think he'll push the injured guys, #1 seed would be great but the bye is really needed and we're in great shape for that. And I doubt Denver is winning out.

Bottom line, though, our defense is now good enough to keep us in games that the offense has to muddle through, nice to be back to that.

While history does not make for future performance, BB-coached teams have zero history in consistently bad offensive line play.

This is the game we can lose 41-3 and get our much needed humbling and still be okay. The team has earned the ability to lose without major consequence for seeding and would still control their own fate. Not trying to be negative or saying we will lose badly at all, just saying it feels good to be in this position and hats off to the effort of these guys to get to this point.

There's virtually zero chance that Denver puts up more than 20, let alone more than 40.

Broncos will gang tackle and triple cover Gronk on every play especially if there is no Amendola. Who the hell will Brady have left to throw to ? This is a nightmare...

If we're the #2 seed and the Bengals are the #1, I'll feel really good about our chances of making it to the Superbowl (assuming health).

However, Denver has injury problems of their own and their QB is starting his 2nd NFL game. 6 days rest on Thanksgiving week makes this a huge challenge but it's still a very winnable game.

If you ask me, this is a huge opportunity for the defense.

With our offense cut short of weapons, they can make a huge statement if they out-defense Denvers Defense. To me that would be a huge statement.

we only score 30 if we get short fields from turnovers..

the broncos should bring an extra man to blitz every time. see if tom/the receivers can get open.
i doubt it...

I know what you mean. This could be our Pitt game from 2004. Go in banged up, get blown out but learn and grow. Don't want to see it but I don't think this would kill us.

scott chandler? yea right.
he'll have his normal once catch for less then 10 yards. hahah

maybe keyshawn suits up

Another option is we could promote Fauria from the practice squad. He may be the worst blocking TE in the league but he's a decent redzone threat.

I said 30 if we were healthy.

I agree that we won't put up a ton of points now that we have nearly all our starters injured. Luckily, we're going up against an even worse offense even when they're at full strength.
