Chris Harper is 5'10 6/8 tall with 9 18" hands and 31 7/8" arms.

By comparison:
Danny Amendola is 5'10 4/8" tall.
Julian Edelman is 5'10 3/8" tall.

Not sure that Martin and Harper's "catch radius" is any smaller than that of Amendola's or Edelman's..

Pryor could have an attitude issue. He's been with 5 teams. (Raiders, Seahawks, KC, Bengals, Browns). Going from highly recruited prospect and a winner in college to being a JAG in the NFL can do that..

Yea I'm quickly reaching that conclusion as well. Sometimes the attitude isn't worth the talent

I hope we get some injury news fast because we are all just speculating. It sounds like Dobson may be done for the year (and forever possibly) because if it's a foot injury I doubt it would heal up in time. Plus, if he comes back before its 100% we could have a repeat of last year. A lot of this rests on 'Dola and Martin too. Regardless, we need to sign 1 or 2 WR because these guys may play but won't be at 100% for a little while.

Any chance we can get Thompkins off of the Jets practice squad? You would think Collie could be enticed from the CFL. Chris Matthews is intriguing but apparently stupid and with attitude. What about Moss or Deion Branch again?

He's not eligible. The restrictions are in place to make sure practice squad spots go to developmental players as opposed to having a shadow roster of veterans, but this is a case where Pryor's (mostly) failed attempt at playing quarterback is preventing him from having a chance to continue his career at a different position.

I'm speculating that he has a high ankle sprain. If so, they will IR him.

No, because he's not on their practice squad. He is on the active roster:

We could release Boyce or Tyms from IR and re-sign him if he clears waivers. I assume that's do-able, it was mentioned with Roberts but we'd almost certainly lose him.

what do you guys think about Donnie Avery? I don't like Meachem but Avery seems like a solid WR. Someone earlier mentioned Brandon Lloyd, who may be a decent option to look at. He is not that far removed from football and was decent in limited times with 49ers last year
