We're onto Denver

The Patriots don't tend to allow teams to run for 170 yards at this time of year or allow a 2-3 yard dump off to be turned into a 50 yard TD.

Pats D will need to be as good or better than last game. Collins should be back for this one I think.

Denver has fallen into the trap of committing dumb penalties at times and the Pats need to use that. Pats OL I think can and will do better. Traditionally when they have a bad game they rally to have a good one no matter who they play.

He's done, getting an MRI today. You don't get an MRI if it is something that is minor.

You may be right, and non-contact injuries are never a good sign, but I'll wait for official word before I give up on him. I thought Easley was "done" too early this year, and he came back really quickly.

I have a simple opinion on the DEN game that pretty much matches my opinion on the rest of the NEP games, as well. All of these teams want to beat the NEP in the most decimated state they can be in and then stand up and champion the league...as though: Look who we just beat; our team is #1.

And they know that the NEP current team is without a slew of players; ones that would present an entirely different challenge for them in the future. Even so, if we were to play them, again, in the play-offs, they'd still be toting a win against a decimated team...as though that still might have a bearing.

Meanwhile, the NEP keep winning, despite their (current) roster. And not one of these defeated teams will stand up and remind that they got beaten by a NEP team that was missing a lot of key players.

Bottom line: We can beat any team with our roster in tact...even without a few key players. These other teams cannot. Ultimately, it will all come down to the playoff mix, which we'll be tuned into next month.

Is Demarcus Ware due back on Sunday?? I don't think Brady can stomach another punishment like last night and Denver's D is better. They have to put Vollmer back at LT and Cannon at RT.

Yup, we're on to Denver on a short week with a holiday in the middle. You can tell that the NYJFL set this up before noodle arm came up with another phantom injury.

One thing of note next week:

I know Brady isn't jump ball Joe, but Harper's biggest strength to his game is catch in traffic. The one time Brady targeted him 1 v 1 he came down with a tough grab.

He will see alot of 1v1 with the Broncos taking Gronk out of the game. Brady may need to trust him on a couple of contested throws.

When it comes to pressure you guys are facing a far better defense then the bills defense. The bills are 29th in sacks vs the Broncos being #1. You guys are right behind us at #2. This game will will probably come down which oline plays better.

Pats 20-13 again.

Agree, I could see the Denver game playing out the exact same way as this Bills game. The Pats could win 20-14 or lose 20-14. Will be a tough, hard hitting game. It would be great if Collins is back.

We are doomed. I have no faith in this Oline after what I saw last night.

I think he was targeting him on the interception as well. In general I'm against jump ball throws unless you NEED the score.

I know that's hard to argue, but if we can get a line of Vollmer, Kline, Stork, Mason, Cannon/Flemming to be out there for longer than half a game together, I'm guessing a lot of the problems last night go away. They beat our guys one on one occasionally, but of the 10 QB hits, I feel like 8 or 9 of them were free rushers that were unaccounted for. That to me speaks to chemistry and communication, not talent. We have the talent to be a good O-Line, we just need guys to stop getting hurt and play together for a while.

No you are doomed with the negative outlook. I'm looking forward to the players and the coaching staff working hard to develop cohesion and improving.

There is nothing to suggest that they won't improve.

line is bad, no weapons, cant run the ball.
defense has to eat osweller alive....hoping he ****s his pants in prime time!

True, but that was in double coverage. More of a dumb throw by Tom. We may have no choice next week if our WR trio is Lafell, Martin, and Harper. I can't see Lafell getting open much vs. Talib.

cannon was horrible. jerry hughes just walked around him.

Agreed, LaFell is the type of receiver Talib tends to do very well against. I'm kind of hoping Wade gets too cute and tries to play Talib on Gronk :D

True, they need to fix that O-Line, it was atrocious last night

This was the first game that I saw David Andrews taken out of the lineup.
