Danny Amendola Injury Watch 2015

wait what? I'm so confused right now

What are you confused about? You just posted another tweet stating that the training staff came in and took out all of his clothing, backpack, etc. I don't think anyone took that as "good news."

Obviously, injured players aren't allowed to talk to the media--so he's definitely injured on some level. The only question is how badly?

That's what made it so confusing....I thought it was pretty standard for injured players not to speak. So why is Ryan Hannabe making such a big deal of it?

Because it reaffirms all of our worst thoughts--that Amendola is indeed injured and will miss time. Even a couple of games would be a pretty big deal, particularly against a tough defense on the road during a shortened week.

We don't know what's going on for sure, but your last 2 tweets aren't leading us in the direction that we were hoping for when posters claimed that "he never went to the LR," or "he continued to walk around," etc.

twitter saying amendola cancelled his appearance on WEEI tomorrow

WTF could you possibly be disagreeing about, @Gilgamesh?

I suppose you're taking the canceling of his WEEI appearance, the training staff coming into the locker room to remove all of his belongings, and the Patriots "no media availability" policy as good news in this case?

I mean, what's to wonder about? What exactly do you disagree about? The fact that he seems to have some type of injury?

Looks like someone created an account for the sole purpose of disagreeing with your posts. must be a really smart guy with a lot going on in his life.

LOL

Butt hurt Bills fan?

loyko doesnt think its that serious.
a lot of people were hopeful when lewis went down..

as usual, hope for the best expect something serious

Denver hasn't had a "good defense" in about a month. The defense we saw tonight has been out playing Denver in recent weeks, and so has our own defense.

Eh, we'll find out soon enough and I hope you're right, but the Broncos defense poses plenty of challenges next Sunday night--for obvious reasons.

The old "we'll beat them with the quick, timing routes" idea took a bit of a hit with the loss of Edelman, and things would be even worse with the loss of Amendola. I don't see what Buffalo had tonight that Denver won't replicate next weekend in their home stadium, other than the front DL where I'd give the advantage to BUF.

Either way, I don't see anything wrong with pointing out that we'd have a challenge "without Amendola against a tough defense on the road during a shortened week," and that's the statement that you responded to.

Denver's defense is plenty capable of stifling our offense w/o Amendola. It'll take a great defensive performance on our part to get a win.

the offense will struggle against denver
basically a repeat of tonight. banking on osweller ****ting his pants on national television.
hopefully 2-3 int's that give us short fields so we cash in.

if we have to sustain long drains, we might score 20

Teams have had success in stopping their pass rush in recent weeks by doubling Miller. They've had no one else who has been able to get any pressure on the QB. Also, TEs have been successful against them all season long.

We have some key injuries, but Rex's teams usually play us tough. Jets made our offense look pedestrian last year, but we shredded just about every other team after week 4. Wade Phillips doesn't pose the same threat.

Furthermore, they have one of the worst offenses in the league going up against the #1 ranked defense in terms of PPG.

Which won't be difficult because they have a putrid offense. The offense we played against tonight is significantly better.

I don't think we can afford to double Von Miller. Aren't Ware and Shane Ray playing anymore? I know that Ware was out this past week, but I thought he was coming back for Sunday's game? Pretty sure they've been a fairly disruptive and stingy defense this season, in both the front seven and secondary.

Either way, we obviously match up much worse without Edelman and Amendola, so that's the point I was making. Not sure how anyone can argue with that statement?
