We currently have 3 healthy WR on the roster, one of whom has never caught a pass and the other who is a special teams gunner.

Help

My first reaction is this wasn't a serious one. He stayed on the sideline the rest of the game. Mb tweaked something and they didnt want to aggrivate anything more

This was our concern with having Amendola continue to play STs, even if it was a non contact injury. Hopefully it doesn't bite us in the ass.

I thought he was holding his hamstring, but based on everything recently, I doubt he'll ever walk again.

Patriots official statement was that it was a knee injury.

True. I'd be ****ting bricks right now if it was reported that he went to the locker room. But we will have an incredibly difficult time going into Denver if we are without him....

That and he was never labeled out. Can't believe it's serious without ever going back to the locker room and also, they took his helmet away. Generally a we know you'll sneak back in so not gonna happen.

I think bill has had that Denver game in the back of his mind managing the injuries. He knows we need all hands on deck for that game..because if we win then i think we essentially lock the #1 seed up.

I may be wrong, but I swear I saw him in there on the hands team on the kickoff in the 4th quarter. Can anyone confirm???

a non contact injury can happen on any play.

While true, it obviously doesn't happen if he's not out there on STs, and that was a big concern with the way that we need him at the moment.

With 46 active players on gameday, one would think that another player could field a punt.

Like I said in the game thread, if we are without Dola we are in some serious ****. Gronk looked lethargic as hell tonight as well. What do we do with such a thin WR core? I know its early but I think Chris Harper might be a big time sleeper.

Is there a doctor in the house?

Outside options are Johnathan Krause who was on the practice squad, Austin Collie, and Jalen Saunders (the guy we got from New Orleans) who is on the Bears practice squad. Options are limited.
