Was cut from the PS September 19th as they added Khyri Thornton and Barker.

Patriots Advanced Stats: Patrick Chung Shuts Down Pro Bowl Tight End

Justin Coleman: 3-8, 26 yards, PBU

— Justin Coleman also played extremely well despite being matched up on multiple receivers. He has been deceptively good all season for the Patriots while healthy

The only Pats CB giving up less than 50% comp pct. (21-44, 273 yards, 2 TDs, 82.8 qbr)

He's played as well as any rookie CB not named Peters and has a chance to be another undrafted rookie CB playoff hero. Deja Vu. :D

Butler Ryan Coleman Roberts thats a good young secondary.
Dont think we need to focus on defensiveback in the next draft focus on runningbacks wide receivers Linebackers,
Tightends, Offensive line.

Of these last few weeks I have not liked what I have seen from Ryan. Some of the plays that he has allowed are due to a lack of over the top help but as we have seen over his career he can be beat on man to man coverage.

I agree. Ryan on the outside is a disaster waiting to happen.

Ryan is ONLY a slot CB at best. He gets burnt (like toast) if playing @ RCB spot. He is more likely to get picked on by the opposing QB than any other DB.

I like Coleman better...

I don't think I ever said Ryan is a disaster waiting to happen..?

I'm concerned that his play might be dropping off...

I thought Mccourty took a few bad angles yesterday but more than made up for it with the incompletion jarring the ball out of Conleys hands.
That was clutch and a huge play to decide the game.

Coleman was terrific last night. Interesting that at the start of the season, Ryan was probably our #4 CB. If Darryl Roberts plays as well next pre-season as he did the last, I could see Ryan dropping to #4 again with Roberts playing in Ryan's current position and Coleman as the nickel.

Some Seahawks guys I follow on Twitter are pretty sick we took Coleman off their PS. I'm blocked by one because of it :)

I like Coleman and have to imagine he will be even better next week and hopefully in the SB. He may still be a little rusty too from missing a few weeks. I do hope they work Leonard Johnson in there too, I'd like to see what he can do.

Roberts will start next year. I am convinced of it.

Coleman and Ryan will be featured in the sub packages.

I love me some Justin Coleman! I wonder what was going thru his mind when both teams that went after him were in the Superbowl.

Well, I think we all got a little too much of Leonard Johnson than we'd have liked to see, considering that the CB3 spot was an enormous weakness while Coleman was out.

If we end up seeing Johnson again, things will be bleak due to injuries.

Justin Coleman may be slightly more than a jag but jeez do people turn on Ryan fast.

Johnson, too. I thought he was a decent CB3 and Ryan was more having a slump lately.

im really expecting that Roberts will be a PS guy at best next season. He got hurt so early that all the hype about him from fans is based on almost nothing

I really think IRing Roberts was a big mistake. He's probably healthy now and we badly need another CB with tight coverage skills. He could have been what Butler was for us last year at the end of the season.

It wasn't hype. If you attended any of the TCs he was very good and he did decent vs Jordy Nelson.

Yea. We are assuming that the severity of his injury would have allowed him to return this season.
