Antonio Cromartie and wife get in Twitter war with Jets fans

Heh. Only the jests

And the funny thing is they are in win now mode. Look at the age of their players. Here are the starters who are on the wrong side of 30:

Fitzpatrick
Ferguson
Mangold
Giacomini
Brandon Marshall
Calvin Pace
David Harris
Cromartie
Revis

And those guys are why they are going to lose their best DL (Wilkerson) and LB (Davis) both who are 26.
Now i'm not saying Davis is great or anything but he is better than anything they have. I mean right now if you're a team you'd take Davis over Harris just on the age factor alone. Instead of looking ahead the jests decided to give Harris a 3 year/$21m contract with $15m guaranteed. "a year too early rather than a year too late". Glad the jests refuse to subscribe to this.

Wait I'm confused, which number is she?

It took a little longer than usual this year, but the Jests have begun to show their true colors...

week 11...that must be some sort of record since Rex' first couple of seasons...for a while there it was looking like Todd Bowles might actually be an NFL HC and that Fitz might be able to win enough games to get them back to the Playoffs....

but this morning it seems that the balance of the universe has been restored....

let the bad mouthing and recriminations begin in New Jersey!

Meanwhile, over at Gang Green Forum, the lynch mob is already forming!

They may be idiots, but even they know The Jets Suck!

I have to disagree. I can't think that KT, Stevan R or Fitzy have suddenly become scum-sucking lowlifes. I think of them like I think of our friend, Gunnails. Being a Jet can also come under the heading "When bad things happen to good people".

And then there's Richard, a poster I "met" in 2002 on the AOL board. He seemed like a really good guy but he made one little mistake. He stopped rooting for the Pats and followed Tuna Crap to New Jersey in the 90's. Talk about a sports fan's life changing moment. Wow!

After watching them beat Dallas last night even I have to admit it. The Jests don't suck as much as they used to. Well, not on the field anyway.

Oh, don't worry! There are plenty of ways for a team to suck.

Depending on a team-mate socking your starting quarterback in the jaw to enable you to improve at the position is pretty great. And then there's Woody Johnson. And Fireman Ed. And 50,000 mouth-breathers in the stands. And their ex-quarterback's, er ... enthusiasm for Suzy Kolber.

Not to mention (but how can you not?) the greatest and most essential Jets play of all time ...

EDIT:

How long can anyone go without watching this? As good now as it was the day it happened.

My two favorite Jets moments in the last 15 years! I could watch the butt fumble over and over again like a favorite classic movie.

Exactly! When people talk about "defining moments", this must be what they mean.

Keep in mind they were playing a Dallas team that had nothing to play for with Kellen Moore at QB who took over because Matt Cassel sucked even worse than he does, and it still took a last-minute FG for them to win, after Moore threw three interceptions!
On the road..

That never means much.. You scratch out games sometimes..

Most NFL games aren't decided until late in the fourth quarter..

We struggle against the jets but manage to won all the time and I never see anybody say.. Oh, we almost lost..

We lost two super bowls to an inferior wild card team.. Once going for immortality..
