Except that JD Drew had a guaranteed contract and Dobson doesn't. The coaches must really see potential there, given that he's still on the roster despite his on-field percentage.

I'm hearing rumors* from sources* that Dobson blew his back out Saturday night while twerking at a local club.

Dobson is all about the team. He is stepping up, getting ready to take spot on IR. He is as reliable and consistent as they get when it comes to roster shuffle in the middle of the season.

I know the original report said Questionable *Back* I wonder how many of us would have chuckled if it had said Questionable *Hand*.

Drew also had a grand slam in the World Series.

It sure seems doubtful right now that Dobson will have a similar kind of moment.

This was Dobson 'the veteran' chance to show he belongs on the Patriots (or eventually some other team) as a legit WR. 2 Major passing targets, and probably Martin, gone for the Patriots means Dobson was almost certainly going to get some targets/opportunities.
So what happens? He gets injured in practice. You gotta be kidding me.

I hope it's not serious and he can go out, play, contribute. But this guy was already borderline headed toward being an ex-Patriot. If he can't show his worth right here and right now?? Gotta believe the little indicator on the thermometer is about to pop up to say the goose is cooked.

At this point, it doesn't even matter why. If Dobson can't make himself useful on a day like today, we can pretty much rest assured that he never will. If Martin can't go, let's see what Chris Harper can do and be prepared for the extremely likely possibility that he's already better than Dobson anyway.

I'm soooo done with the Dobson experiment. How many times will I have to hear "when he gets his chance". Please, move on. It's just a let down, over and over. How many catches does he have in 5 yrs?

He's only questionable. Let's not bury him quite yet. He still could start for all I know and put up 6 grabs for 80 yards and a TD.

Where the hell does Arizona find their WR's a Rookie WR was doing damage for them last night.

Dobson has been questionable since the day we drafted him. I've never seen someone give such a non-chalant interview after the best team with the best QB just drafted you.

In 5 years he has quite a lot of catches because he was still in college for two of those years.

Actually, there were a couple of guys at Marshall who had more catches. I was unimpressed with the selection because he was a small fish in a little pond.
