Brock Vereen to Practice Squad...

Well, to complete the thread and call myself out, Coleman is inactive but no other move was made. So they're going into the game with only 3 cornerbacks active, with McCourty presumably number 4. Shows how much I know.... Obviously let's hope that it all works out, no one gets hurt, and that the Pats win the game.

Only 3 active CBs?

That's about as likely to happen as the Pats playing a game with only 6 active OL.

Can't Tavon Wilson play CB?

I thought he played both CB and S in college, and was drafted with that versatility in mind.

and speaking of OL, what line will we see tonight? With Barker back on the PS, and Vollmer, Cannon and Jackson returning to practice, yet another edition is in order. I am guessing Stork is replaced at OT, but where does he go?

Hes he has played CB in college but turning and tracking the football is something he does not do well beyond 15 yards from the LoS - at all.

I'm betting LT- Vollmer LG-Kline C-Andrews RG- The Stork RT- Cannon and dress Mason and Jackson tonight.

This is a 3 safety game.

The Bills have one WR, Watkins. Their second WR, Woods, gets about 40 yards a game. Clay is really their second receiver with McCoy getting some too.

I'm not sure we need 2 CB for this game, let alone 3 (barring injury). This is about Watkins, Clay and the RB.
....and Rex likes his running game so having more "in the box" players might make sense tonight.

With that said, Malcolm, Ryan, Melvin and DMC are your CBs. Obviously DMC is your FS and slot CB as well.

With the back injury to Dobson is he now the most likely candidate to be moved to free up a spot on the 53?

FWIW - Brock is being $7,500 a week while on the practice squad. Standard pay is $6,600.

Big assumption that both Vollmer and Cannon are ready to go.. And you dress only Stork as the emergency T?? I see Fleming getting the call over Jackson..

Yea I'm taking a leap of faith with Vollmer & Cannon playing.

Good point on Jackson. Sitting him makes the most sense as he has the least amount of positional flexibility.

With our Fragile Tackle situation there is no way Cameron Flemming is not dressed.

Stork is backup RT/G. With that said if Vollmer is hurt then Cannon slides to LT.
