Jets Suck -- 2015 Edition (Official): Countdown to Oblivion

The WEEI morning show's best friend, Bart Hubbach, tweeted this out today.

Apparently, Mike Felger's man crush on Todd Bowles may be short lived.

Watching the Jet's go to SOJ mode .... never gets old.:D

Fitz throws 2 INT's to end the game .... still think he had some form of a concussion there.

Guy is one hell of a gamer ... he really does not belong on the loser team.

The sad fact is that this season has seen so few decent teams in the AFC, the division leaders apart, that the Jesters are still in the wild card hunt.

That said, the good news is that, if the season ended tomorrow, they would be picking somewhere around 17.

The famous Manish Mehta from Friday: :p

Mehta: Thankfully for Jets 'D,' Texans are truly offensive

On a 10-point fear factor scale, T.J. Yates registers a solid 1.5.

Maybe a 2.0 on a good day.

For all the recent criticism heaped on the Jets defense, there is this sobering truth about the next opponent: Their quarterback stinks.
Todd Bowles’ team isn't exactly facing Dan Pastorini or Warren Moon in the heart of Texas on Sunday. The 4-5 Houston Texans, like the rest of the AFC South, don’t strike fear in anyone. Yates, the journeyman third-stringer thrust into the starting lineup after Brian Hoyer suffered a concussion on Monday night, isn’t scaring anyone.

Douchebag ... give it up Manish

Yeah, but he helped them lose which makes him a bona fide Green Bean.

Hopkins seemed to torch Revis all day

From the parts of the game I saw, Hopkins clearly got the better of the matchup. Like Sammy Watkins the week before, there were plays where Hopkins got away from Revis, but the pass was off target. (To be fair with Watkins, he had a couple of drops also.)

Jets fans were expecting to get the 2009-10 version of Revis back, but that guy doesn't exitst anymore.

(Edited to correct my terrible spelling of "exists.")

That brings up a question. Is the Jests suckage at a lower level or has the suckage spread onto more teams?

The 2014 Mevis doesn't exist anymore either. The Pats got the last good season out of him for 5 million less than the Jests are going to pay him for each of the next 3 years. Proving yet again that Jets Suckage is alive and well.

Stupid gamer. Think about everytime he slides head first, which is everytime, it brings Geno that much closer to being in the game. That is definitely not helping your team. He's s Harvard, gutsy idiot. Yup, he fits right in.

Wrong question, with respect. The Jets suck from the inside -- once, now and forever. Interestingly, they are a mediocre team this year with a few players who seem like moderately adequate human beings. No wonder there are reports that the team don't like one another!

But they are a young team with players just waiting to mature and explode.

Marshall, Decker, Fitzy, Revis, Cromartie, Ivory, Mangold..... Oh wait what? They are in win now mode and salary cap hell?

Oooops. Losers

The Jets have holes up and down their roster. They need a QB, a TE, an OL, and a bunch of linebackers.

So what do they do? They throw huge guaranteed bucks at a cornerback on the wrong side of 30

But hey, that'll show those darned Patriots!

And the funny thing is they are in win now mode. Look at the age of their players. Here are the starters who are on the wrong side of 30:

Fitzpatrick
Ferguson
Mangold
Giacomini
Brandon Marshall
Calvin Pace
David Harris
Cromartie
Revis

Face it Jets suckage is unending. BB takes mevis and puts him in a position to win. He does not require him to carry the defense just " DO HIS JOB". The result a Super Bowl ring. He then goes to the kingdom of suckage and he looks old and past his prime. Coincidental I think not.

That's a media contrivance.

I have to disagree. I can't think that KT, Stevan R or Fitzy have suddenly become scum-sucking lowlifes. I think of them like I think of our friend, Gunnails. Being a Jet can also come under the heading "When bad things happen to good people".

If one looks at the NYDN sports section one sees:

Same old Jets: the coach sucks, the QB sucks, the players are busy fighting with the fans instead of worrying about their performance on the field...

At least Mehta's article wasn't titled "Bowles take a turn for the worse"! :)

The Instant Analysis tells us what we all know: The Jets Suck!

The Jets, losers of four of their last five games, are in the midst of watching a once-promising season slip away after a 24-17 defeat to the Texans.

The offense sleepwalked through much of the game, the defense was horrible and the head coach looked every bit like a rookie. This was a complete embarrassment.

Ryan Fitzpatrick & Co. managed only 57 yards before intermission. Darrelle Revis was torched by DeAndre Hopkins before the Pro Bowl cornerback left in the third quarter with a head injury. Todd Bowles was out-coached by Bill O’Brien, whose creativity on offense (wildcat formations, double-pass for a TD) doomed the Jets.
