Sherman being loud is irrelevant. Edelman still talked **** and still talks **** to this day. Certain people are trashing Watt when Edelman is the same type of player.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall Edelman ever insulting anyone like that with a microphone in his face, especially unprovoked, as were Watt's comments about Dalton (as well as his comments about Mettenberger). I mean I could understand it more if Dalton had said some disparaging comments about Watt prior. Maybe Dalton did say something bad about Watt that we're not aware of? Or...maybe Watt is just a d-bag behind his clean cut image?

He's the best defensive player of this generation. Who cares if he wags his finger? He deserves it.
A generation? A generation is typically considered a span of 25 years. You really think he's the best since 1990?

After watching Hard Knocks, I find this guy increasingly irritating. More and more he strikes me as a self-aborbed dink. Obviously, he's a terrific player and if you're not absolutely sure of that, just ask him.
If he was black he would be a diva.

I'll take him on the Pats.... man, was watching him the other day...he just pushes that pocket like nobody I've seen.

What I didn't like seeing was big Vince. He wasn't looking too good. He was getting turned quite a bit...that doesn't bode well for what his role entails...

His name might be Watt, but I don't think he's necessarily the brightest bulb. :D

You see Dalton, that's how you make a snappy retort. Using "integrity" as your comeback is weak. Borderline pathetic.

If you are a Stoolie you know why Watt is a huge tool. Pres and Big Cat have had numerous blogs with examples of why he is.
Can you translate that to English?

I really can't stand the guy...getting up there on my list.

I thought the BB gun comment was funny.

Watt is one of the best players in this league but he does come off as contrived sometimes. Could care less because it doesn't effect my life and I'm not losing sleep over it.

You mean instances like when Edelman held up a fan-made meme of Sherman then punched it or when Blount pretty much called Marshawn Lynch "***** mode". Instances like that? They're athletes, man. They talk ****. Some do it off field more than on, others vice versa, and some others do both. My point stands. The comment was about as innocuous as it gets and it's hard for me to believe you would take issue with this if Watt was a Patriot.

Who said anything about the comment? Actually that is probably one of the things he's said/done I have no issue with, even though 100% chance he thought up that line days before the game.

I don't like Watt because he is a complete self absorbed hardo. If he was with the Patriots I would absolutely still think that. Just like I thought Revis was a mercenary ***hole. Just like I thought Moss was a diva quitter. Just like I think Gronk is a goofball.

At least he didn't say that Dalton's his biyatch, which he kinda could have said.

I thought that the BB Gun line was brilliant, though I have no doubt that it wasn't spontaneous.

I also thought that Dalton's response was pathetic, bordering on…let's just say unmasculine.
Was he so mercilessly offended that he had to pull the Integrity card? That's just plain weak.
Please Arizona Cardinals, kick his ass.
