Shocker - Troy Brown: Pats players hated Felger

Shocked, shocked to hear from Troy Brown that the players hated Felger:

“Michael Felger was the guy that most guys just wanted … his hair was always perfect, he was a pretty boy thinking he was GQ with his cardigan sweaters on and stuff, argyle socks, and the penny loafers, and always just looking for that negative side of the player and ready to blast on somebody,” Brown recalled. “I think guys wanted to just punch him right in the face.”

Troy Brown Shares Not-So-Fond Memories Of Michael Felger In Patriots Locker Room

Felger would hide behind his wife.

There are worse though - CHB and Tomase in Boston alone.

asked who was “the most intolerable member of the media” during Brown’s playing days.

“Michael Felger,” Brown answered quickly. “They wanted to fight him, man. Oh my gosh, it was bad with him.”

The only Pats player I ever thought was gonna clean my clock was Lawyer Milloy. We're at Parente's restaurant after a day at Smithfield trying camp. Lawyer's outside on the phone talking contract with his agent I think. I'm at the top of the stairs looking down at him and yell something about sign with a home town discount. He hangs up, gives me The Look, and starts up the stairs. I missed the rest as I scuttled inside to hide behind some really large guys.

Sadly, Felger will wear this as a badge of honor. I'm sure that he and Squeaky will have a field day with this and will yuck it up for the rest of the week.

I'm guessing that the one person who isn't delighted to hear Troy say this is Tanguay, as it was his dream to be the most hated media member by the Patriots

You smart, cowardly bastard......

it just stuns me that a lot of these personalities we tend to abhor are so easy to twist into caricatures...like Felcher...or Tanqueray...or the Big No..or Albert Sneer...or Shankanancy...or trollin' Volin...or Chris Ghastly...

Heh, I can imagine he is much more hated by the players nowadays. He is arguably the most prominent media person in Boston sports at this time. He doesn't do much writing anymore but his radio show is very popular and he is on a lot of the sports shows on CSNNE.

While I doubt Tom Brady is listening to 98.5 the Sports Hub I'm sure there are plenty of younger players who are in tune with what the local media is saying about them.

Every time I inadvertently end up either watching or listening to him .... and for whatever random reason I don't, somehow, end up turning him off, I come back to the same sense I've gotten from him since the beginning....
...Felger is a spiteful, contrarian, douchebag, weasel. Probably has been since 6th grade!

I dont get how his show can be so highly rated.

Felger and Mazz are truly ****heads, they play on our sports passion and poke fun at everybody and anything in the name of ratings.

They are pigs and I listen only when a guest is on that I want to hear.

That said, I enjoy Thornton, Dale & Holley and not simply because they are Pats fans.

But Felger wears this as a badge of honor....as does every other media scumbag players & fans hate - Shank, Tanguay, etc.....

Wow Albert "Sneer" is a perfect nickname for that jack@ss. You forgot "Man-Hands" McMullen

Yup, this article will give Felger a raging hardo, another feather in the cap for one of Boston's biggest trolls.
That's appropriate: a raging hardo for a raging hardo...

I someone from the Hardo family would give birth to a baby boy and train him for the NFL, I'd appreciate it if you named him Raging...thanx in advance
