That SB was almost as good as the Patriots winning a ring.

pure Schadenfreude.

I watched that ESPN piece a few days ago about Peytie being the greatest QB in NFL history and how no QB is even close to his greatness and how his greatness has transformed the game and how his greatness will live on forever...and I'm thinking Manning is definitely retiring after this season and immediately moving to a seat on ESPN or NFLN ala Ray Lewis.

Definitely a media setup.

Jokah watches espn & reports on it so we don't have to watch

I watch "Housewives Of Passaic Gone Wild" too...you probably don't want THAT report though...

Actually Peyton is having an operation to finally remove Quatto from his forehead:

There were just saying on the radio that word out of Denver is that Peyton is resting this week (he's not really injured, just noodle-arned) so that he can play the Pats in two weeks. Bring it Peytie Pie.

Somehow that horrendous coach John Fox, who robbed Manning of a Super Bowl ring, has the Bears playing way above expectations.

The media never fails to generate an excuse for the infallible Peyton Manning. Great player, just not a Greek deity. John Fox has been a very good coach over his career. He's just too conservative, which has hurt his teams in the playoffs.

This thread title is erroneous...Manning certainly IS dressing for Sunday...

maybe he can double date with his doofus younger sibling...

That's just ugly. There are things that should never be seen.

I am hoping we get the goober in a couple of weeks. Just sweeter.

Thank you Peyton. Patriots fans will always have great Superbowl memories from games our team was not even competing in. I don't even know if there are other teams' fans that can claim this.

Up till then my favorite non-Pats SB was Saints-Donks with the soul crushing P6!
But my Seahawks brought it to a different level and even threw in yet another P6!
EPIC!!!!

The "he meant so much to the game" angle was the exact same that Inside the NFL went with last night. I thought they were going to start crying. It sounded like it was written by Archie.

Now that P6 is all washed up again, will the NFL alter the MVP voting rules...
