OK that might be a bit hyperbolic, but it IS very good news. Why? Because the Pats wouldn't make that move if they didn't know for certain one or more of the missing OT's are coming back. My guess it's Volmer.

Regardless it will present some questions about what happens to Stork. If Volmer comes back, he'll likely move back to RT and where do you play Stork. I would contend that despite the admirable job David Andrews has done, Stork is the better Center. But who knows what the Pats will do. It's a problem, but at LEAST its a good one for a change

could also mean Canon is close to returning. word is he was walking without a limp last week and could be close. this would allow us to put our best lineup on the field.

considering how well Andrews has played at center, I like playing stork at Guard. it makes our interior line rediculously strong. which is big for a QB like brady who likes to step up into the pocket

Oh my god, I've said something similar BEFORE Ken could post on the subject

I must be a genius

If Vollmer is back, I would do as you said - put him back at RT and start Stork at center. Andrews has done more than any of us expected of him filling in, but he's no Stork.

I think I would rather start Stork at center and Kline (or Jackson if he comes back soon) at right guard than start Andrews at center and Stork at right guard.

well, Chris Carter doesn't care. He just exclaimed on the Mike and The Green Goony show that the Pats O line is in a shambles and Brady will get hit viciously multiple times a game the next four games, so NE is a "good" team but they're nowhere near a great team anymore. Not to be outdone, the Green Goony (Greenberg) goes off on a "how is Brady doing this with a line like this??? It's never been done ever in history going back a 100 years!!! How?? How are they doing it???"...truly to biggest little piece of media scum, midst the multitude of detritus, that work at EveryStupidPrickNationwide

"They're just not good anymore!" Yep Joker, they're surely done for, they'll never win with an offensive line like THAT! Except for the fact they are 2-0 with this offensive line combination... and are probably returning at least 1 and as many as 3 veterans to that line this week... But Carter is right, they're done!!!!!!!

My one wish in the life I have left is just a few minutes alone in a room with that scumbag Greenie...unknownst to anybody.

So much jealousy. So so much jealousy.

Why are you listening to this, is it some type of self torture.;)

that's right...so stay away from him...he's all mine...you got your duck billed platypus down under, Aus. When I get done with this twerp we'll have a duckbilled splattered **** up here in the good ol USA

Holy ****, Greenberg did everything but pass out back rubs to the Pats' coaching staff for how they've dealt with all of the injuries, he's been proclaiming Brady's greatness all year, and people are still doing everything they can to create something to ***** about.

I look at this as a good sign as well for our returning tackles. Once healthy, I would insert Vollmer at LT, Cannon at RT, Mason and Kline at Guard, with Jackson rotating in and have Stork and Andrews rotate at Center with Stork eventually taking the job back.
I think we might see a 3 man rotation at tackle as well initially with Vollmer, Cannon and Flemming.

Over here these drongos are the only guys on our TV talking about any U.S. sport.

At least you guys have options...

And they paired him with that airhead Golic who is utterly incapable of stringing an argument together. Never seen anyone so stupid get a gig like that in my life.

Anyway back to the OP - completely agree! Let's hope he stays there! (Sorry Chris)

I read between the lines and behind the scenes. You thought I was creating something to biatch about when I ranted about Goodell going back 8 years. Today? Not so much. All his blubbering, blathering platitudinous natterings on the Patriots are only window dressing hiding the FACT he is a gigantic scumbag green goony Rat fan POS. Period.

No, you nailed the Goodell thing, for sure. But the odds were with you, because you just assume that every Jets fan is part of the Illuminati, and I'm pretty sure that Greenberg being a Jew pisses you off even more. You keep threatening bodily harm to Greenberg for what now? Even during D-Gate, the guy said it didn't affect Brady's greatness.

I've put people in ignore for being assholes before, but you're the only one I put on ignore just for being absolutely unhinged.

The ignorant fear what they do not understand. "How is Brady doing this?" It has been explained countless times by those that care to understand the game of football. Processing what the defenses are doing coupled with a deadly quick release does the trick. Simply, ESPN is the gathering place for the stupidest among the stupid. Greenberg is no different. However, Chris Carter takes the cake. Truly the epitome of a self-righteous, mouth breathing moron. If he couldn't do it, how can Brady and the Patriots do it? Ego and idiocy are a frightening combination.

At the beginning of the year, the Patriots were doing something pretty remarkable in ROTATING their OL, and doing it without a loss of continuity.

The Seahawks started doing this with their DL a couple of years ago and seemed unstoppable. now they're down on quality DL depth and their vaunted defense, even with the high-paid stars, looks rather pedestrian.

So when the three OL come back, I want to see Stork at guard, Stork at center, Vollmer left and right, Cannon here, Cannon there, Flemming at TE, RT, LT...and on and on.

Keep 'em fresh and keep the other team's DC and DL scratching their heads.
