Funny that TB said that at the beginning of the 2014 season, a few weeks before the media started to criticize his play.

Yes to reclaiming your wallet. No to reclaiming your ego. Attacking someone for something they said is exactly the kind of punk behavior that sums up Ward pretty nicely.

To Manning's credit, he looked embarrassed when he was acknowledging the ovation from the fans. I think he knew that he was in bad physical shape and that he was not ready to play.

We can say all we want about "Regular Season" Peyton vs. "Post Season" Peyton, but it's a hell of an accomplishment. Respect. A pity that it came on the worst day on the field of his career that ended with him getting pulled and people wondering whether he should even start the next game.

Spaceman said that the pitch to Perez was less effective because he had to throw it from the stretch instead of from the windup like he had done almost every other time he had used it.

Too bad; he pitched 2 pretty good games vs the Reds, but was given little run support both times.
