I'd like be a fly on Brady/Manning's fathers cell phones when they talk once a week especially when we play them.

I like this one best ...
One would think Archie is an expert in getting his ass kicked.

This pic is hysterical. Which one of these dads actually enjoyed this event? LOL!

" Peyton......God d%#*[email protected]'m sitting in a public forum......watching football games with other NFL Dads and you throw 4 picks??" "What the hell is wrong with you??" "At least Eli competed" " And.....And....Eli has two rings"....." Thank God Brady's Dad wasn't here.."

I'm not sure if I will get buried for this, but can we stop laughing at other's misery. I'm no fan of Pey pey, but leave the man alone. No one knows what holds for any team in this violent game. One day you are healthy and another day you could be injured.

It's a sport. It's not life. Or life and death. In other words, entertainment. Surely we can make fun of Peyton Manning, can't we?

I'm enjoying his demise.

I can't speak for everyone else, but no, I can't stop laughing at his misery or his old man's. Just as they couldn't help but yuk it up over P6's sexualt assault at Tennessee, in a book no less.

Serious question: Is one of these guys Oliver Luck?

Speaking for myself, I certainly don't want PM to be incapacitated.

However....

He knew his arm was cooked, his body breaking down and he came back to chase stats and records.

It is what it is and criticism of his horrible play is warranted.
This is one of those times when, I think, we have to keep two sets of conflicting thoughts in our minds.

Yes, Peyton Manning is one of the all time great QB's and deserves respect as he plays out his final season. No player's injuries, whether a major star or a guy just hanging on on the Practice Squad, are a reason to smile (OK, maybe I'd make an exception for Suh, Hardy or Pollard). But, as you point out, that doesn't mean his play can't be criticized.

And, also, yes, Peyton Manning pretty clearly came back this season to claim a couple of records, including the "big one" that he nailed last Sunday, but should have retired after last season rather than make himself the story and put his fans and the rest of the League through the drama of Peyton Manning sitting on the sidelines. But, he's also cashing a $15 million pay check, so I'm not going to hold it against him.

It looks like a nursing home for really rich guys.

In that case, Peyton should join them.

In all seriousness though, they stopped the game for Peyton to celebrate him breaking the record.

Can you honestly imagine Brady taking part in something like that? I cannot imagine him doing it. Goober said after the game he didn't agree with stopping the game, but he sure seemed to enjoy it in the moment.

Relevancy? He cares more about his precious records right now than he cares about his team and winning. Brady is the opposite. People try to claim Manning is the GOAT when it is clearly Brady. And after all the crap Brady has unfairly taken over Fraud-gate, I'm not real sensitive to Manning's plight.

Although, he has failed so miserably as of late that it is getting harder and harder to enjoy.

After the years of Brady-bashing and Peyton ball-washing and rule changes he benefited from....sorry, but no. I respect Peyton as a QB, but he gets paid a lot of money to play in the NFL and it comes with both, spoils and jeers.

Come to think of it, I'm sick of those singing commercials...

I don't like Payton, but I like Archie. Always a class act, IMO. Don't like to see him agonizing over his son's poor performance. It must be really hard to watch this happen to your son.

You mistake cruel humor directed at someone who is poor, handicapped, ugly, etc., through no fault of their own, for the jokes generated from the play of a man worth tens of millions of dollars and idolized most of his life. As others have said, he came back for the records knowing that he could no longer perform at the level that made him a certain Hall of Famer. I could think of a lot of people, maybe a couple billion, who are more worthy of my sympathy than Peyton Manning.

Lmao i like that the dad behind him is so bored that he basically passed out in that comfy chair

Alex Smith's father.

Must have been bored of the competition.

I have nothing bad to say about Archie. Yes, he wanted his son off the Chargers radar but he's always been a cordial person as far as I know. I'm sure he's hurting when he sees his child struggling.

Kids; Can't live with them, can't shoot them.

$15M/season = $937,500/game = $55,147 per interception so far..... Not too shabby....

I could have gotten Denver a much cheaper per-interception rate.... I would be willing to charge them $1K per interception. MUCH CHEAPER. I shall call HorseTeeth now and see if they have an open spot on their PS... :p
