are the donkeys even a threat to get a bye at this point? Need ARI to give Cinn their 2nd loss. Not sure how it will turn out in the tie breaking scenario between Pats-Cinn, but it might give the Pats a 21/2 game lead if we can take care of Buff.

Just heard that Dalton wasn't too happy about JJ Watt called him the Red Ryder BB Gun ... He said that's against "the integrity of the game". I'm not even kidding. Seriously, he said that.

The fuhrer and his minions ruined that word. Red Ryder BB gun is a pathetic sore loser. I'm gonna call him that forever now. I got zero respect for him. I hope Cinci fans keep boo'ing his ass everywhere he goes.

I love that I can now refer to Andy Dalton as Red Ryder! If he hadn't cried about it, no one would have noticed.

Typically having thin skin does not carry you far in the NFL, especially when the games are higher stakes.

What is so bad about the Red Ryder anyway? Is there a part of the joke I don't get? They already call him the Red Rifle.

The Red Ryder BB gun is the whole "you'll shoot your eye out" thing from A Christmas Story, so presumably Watt's joke was that Dalton shot himself in the eye (or the foot, rather, in this case). It's a fairly convoluted and unfunny joke but I guess Dalton was just pissed at Watt for saying it like it was.

I suspected the Bengals would lose a few more games this year. They still have to play the Cardinals, Rams, Steelers, Broncos, and the rest of their division. 13-3 or 12-4 seems realistic, and I don't see the Patriots losing more than one or two, and we don't play anyone as good as the Cardinals or Steelers going forward. Any losses will probably be divisional losses. The game at Mile High is scary, but both teams have to go there and the Broncos are in freefall right now.

The bears can beat the donkeys. Osweiler will start. I expect the bears defense to give him some different looks.

Yes, and between Fox and Gase, figure they know the tendencies of Denver personnel.

How about this?

Yes, they can. Langford is a good weapon, we know Jeffery is a great WR (hopefully he's fully healthy). Let's hope Cutler doesn't throw three INTs and their defense shows up. On Osweiler, it's probably better for him to play for DEN at this point. Manning was awful all year long (59%, 9/17 TD/INT ratio, 67.6 rating). I don't see Osweiler doing any worse with the weapons they have. Unless the o-line is real bad for them.

I don't think Osweiler gives them a better chance. His arm does to an extent, sure, but manning was the Offensive Coordinator on that team, setting blocking and audibe'ling when he saw things in the defense. Manning played well against the Packers and against the Colts, despite the stat line. He saw things in both games to get the Donkeys on the board with long plays.

Osweiler has how many snaps in the NFL?

So sure, Peyton's inability to stuff a ball into tight coverage hurt them, but his mastery of reading defenses got them a lot, too, because the simple fact of the matter is that the Donkey's OL is trash.

Ware will be out Sunday. I'll take the Bears...and I think the Cardinals are a better team than the Bengals.

Yeah, I already had little sympathy for the "some mild-mannered, G rated trash talk hurt my feelings" position, but as soon as Dalton chained together "integrity of the game" and "won't someone think of hte children!" he immediately shot to near the top of my whiny ***** list. What a loser.

Yup, as far as I'm concerned Osweiler is Ryan Mallett until he proves otherwise. Cool, he's tall and has a cannon arm, that's really great. He's also playing behind a patchwork OL and is starting the first game of his career, so the Broncos should really hold up on welcoming him in as their conquering hero or whatever.

He may prove to be good. More realistically, I think we're going to start seeing more of the trademark Kubiak offense, since Osweiler is a better fit for it and there's no real opportunity cost to doing whatever Kubiak wants anymore. Remains to be seen if that'll be enough to keep Denver in the running for a bye, personally I'm a bit skeptical without dramatic OL improvement. Especially since the Broncos' D stopped drawing comparisons to the 2000 Ravens a couple weeks ago.

If the Patriots finish 13-3, they will likely get the #1 seed. 14-2 is a near certain #1 12-4 a possibility for #1.

Andy Dalton and Brock Osweiler are the quarterbacks of these teams. We are used to being in seeding races against Manning where he tends to hold serve. This isn't the same thing.

Current Vegas Predictions:

Patriots, 15-1, or 14-2
Bengals, 13-3 or 12-4
Broncos, 11-6, or 10-6 (they expect the Broncos to continue their free fall.)

They need to make sure they even win their division. KC has gotten hot at exactly the right moment and is 3 games back. They could end up tied at 10-6.

Remaining schedules:

Denver

Bears
Pats
Chargers (x2)
Raiders
Steelers
Bengals

KC
Chargers (x2)
Bills
Raiders (x2)
Ravens
Browns

Don't let non-Pats fans talk to us about "Fluky" wins....

Does the name TYREE ring a bell? .... and NO HOLDING CALL against the Gints OL on that throw?

F'em.....

Or not blowing the whistle when we clearly had Eli stopped

Right, but we could be 11-0 by then

I don't remember it exactly but I think the comment also made fun of his red hair, which is want he was most upset about. Which makes it even more funny and dumb that he was whining about integrity of the game. The comment was making fun of his hair. He was like "kids look up to him" LMFAO
He said they wanted to turn the Red Rifle into the Red Ryder BB Gun.

Another game like the Houston game and all the Bengal fans will be jumping off...... :D
