I'm on that forum and have been for YEARS, but I was at the game last year and it meant something to me for different reasons even if it was completely meaningless to most of you and other football fans. I don't really see anybody bragging about it except i gues if you interpret the O.P.'s post as bragging....

that would've been my 3rd bills-pats game in NE with my late father-in-law who was an avid pats fan. he was tragically killed in a vehicle accident months prior to that game so my wife came with me for the first time and we had a blast and enjoyed the game.

you have a lot of fans who suffered through some pretty miserable years like we do, I remember when the bills were good so I'm with the lucky few.... it was nice to get our first win especially given my circumstances.

Sorry for your loss. Your father-in-law sounded like a great man with an excellent head on his shoulders.

Why should it?

"one read" Taylor is their QB and NE's run defense has been stout.

Must have missed the rest of my post.

Also, the bills ran all over us last game and put more points on the board than anyone else this season.

But yeh, pithy jokes about their qb sums it all up.

Weren't people saying they were expecting him to be good to go early this week?

I believe he was listed out on Friday so I just think another week.

You're thinking of the wrong division rival.

Oh jeez lol. I am on a bad streak recently. :p Well that will be good to see when it happens. At least I got the pass rush part right.

What does Houston having days off have to do with this game?

Trying to draw a parallel here. Buffalo will have 10-days off. They will be rested. Houston was well rested too having had 14-days off. I think that was an important part of their win last night.

Rex Ryan's schemes when our chips are down can be frustrating for our Offense. Losing Both Lewis and Edelman is a blessing for Ryan two dangerous weapons he doesn't have to scheme for. Unless guys step-up like Dobson - Keyshawn Martin and one of our Third Down Backs:rolleyes: its gong to be a very tight game.

I will tell you right now... Buffalo tastes like hamburger... You read it here first!

Rex Ryan in Gillette has one win since 2009. ONE

Give me a break with being worried about him.

NFL Week 11 Early Advanced Lines: Pats favored by 9½ vs Bills

John Morgan

For the second straight week a game involving the Patriots shapes up to be one of, if not the most compelling matchup of the week. This is one of only three week 11 games (Packers-Vikings, Bengals-Cardinals) between two teams with winning records. It will also be a time where New England fans can “welcome” ESPN to Gillette Stadium and let them know how they feel about their integrity and unbiased reporting.

Week 11 is also the first time that the NFL and their broadcast partners can utilize flex scheduling, and they justifiably took advantage of that opportunity. The Chiefs and Chargers have a combined record of 5-12; their game has been moved out of the Sunday night prime time slot. NBC will now broadcast Cincinnati at Arizona; those two clubs have a combined record of 14-2. In addition a key NFC matchup between the Packers and Vikings has been pushed back to the late afternoon time slot. Previously the only late game on FOX, Seattle at San Francisco was looking like a dud; neither of those teams have winning records and the Niners have by far the most impotent offense in the league.

Happy Birthday to Leon Gray, who would have turned 64 today. The left tackle lined up alongside John Hannah to form what may have been the most formidable left side of an offensive line in NFL history. Behind those two the Patriots set an NFL record in 1978 with 3,165 yards rushing, and he was a vital part of those great 1976 and 1978 teams that should have (if not for Ben Dreith) and could have (if not for the cheapness of Billy Sullivan) been NFL champions. Gray was a four time Pro Bowler and three time All Pro. Sadly he passed away in 2001 just days before his 50th birthday; in 2013 his family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the NFL. Number 70 was was named to the Patriots’ All-Decade team for the 1970s, and was a finalist for the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2013 and 2015.

Perhaps, the title should have read: "We're on to play Buffalo?"

After all, the game is being played at Gillette Stadium. And those who may have forgotten that the first game was in Buffalo might be expecting an away game.

Who knew Wednesday would become the second most exciting day of the week for the Pats? I'm on pins and needles every Wednesday waiting to see who's healthy enough to practice.

Trying to draw a parallel here. Buffalo will have 10-days off. They will be rested. Houston was well rested too having had 14-days off. I think that was an important part of their win last night.

Bengals were at home and had 10 days off.

Days off had nothing to do with that game. Typical bungels not showing up in a primetime game.

Over-react much? No one is saying it's going to be a cake walk.

132 rushing yards is what the Pats gave up. They also didn't have Akiem Hicks and the defense wasn't a gelled as it is now.. Butler has improved immensely since that game. So have Ryan and Coleman.

You seem to forget that it was 37-19 going into the 4th quarter and there were some very questionable non-calls that allowed the Bills to come back to make it seem like a close game.

Is this not the funniest thing you've ever read? Bills fans bragging about beating our backups last season in week 17, after we had the top seed locked up.

http://boards.buffalobills.com/showthread.php?521802-The-last-time-the-Patriots-were-beaten

Bills fans to commit mass suicide after witnessing another ass whooping at the hands of NE.

You must have linked to the wrong thread. That thread is populated almost exclusively with Bills fans being self-deprecating and level headed.

Sorry to hear that. My condolences.

There's another side of the ball as well. Whatever struggles the Patriots may have against the Bills defense, multiply that by a lot and you'll have the struggles the Bills offense will have. Now they've seen Tyrod Taylor and the new offense in Buffalo. If they can stop the run early, this could get very ugly.

Personally, I don't think this game will be that close. Patriots struggling against the Bills defense could mean 21-24 points; Bills struggling against the Patriots defense could mean 10-14 points and multiple turnovers. I think the Patriots will dominate the field position game before breaking it open. If the Bills fall behind, Tyrod Taylor is their QB, and he is most effective throwing the ball a minimum amount of times.

Hoping for the return of Collins, Vollmer, and Cannon. This would go a long way to feeling better about this game..

I'd like to see Tre Jackson, Cannon and Vollmer all ready to go. A line with Vollmer, Mason, Andrews, Kline and Cannon would be great, with Stork, Fleming and Jackson as rotational players. I see no reason to mess around with Andrews at center.

What's the story with Matthew Slater?

If Amendola moves up to "replace" Edelman then who do you think they'll use for the DA role?
